My BIO that I have modified from GrabCAD Drawing Site:

I started taking Drafting in Kindergarten with a small lapboard and T-Square doing orthographic projections. I loved it. We lived in St Louis and my Dad was going to College. He also worked for TWA at night. I found my 2nd love, Aircraft. The TWA Constellation Tri-Tailed Super G. I enjoyed Drawing and Painting. Aircraft have always held a special place in my life since I was 3 yrs old. Bought my first Control Line Biplane at age 11, Started working on Farms and Ranches at 11 and could see much better ways to do things, so I drew them up and 2 went into production. I was too young to understand Patents, Copyrights, Legal "Stuff". I started taking Architectural Design at a College level in High School. I designed many different House styles, then went on to commercial structures like Restaurants, Dentist Offices, Small Stores, Work Space layout and Structures. I became a published Photographer. Later I Enlisted into the Air Force during Vietnam. After I got out of the Service I went to work for the Air Force at the Federal Center in an Engineering Capacity. I also taught in-house classes on how to interpret aircraft parts Drawings. I had returned to my Drawing Boards (that I still have from pre-computer days). Then I got heavily into computers. I started my own storefront, building custom computers, and network systems plus custom hardware. Then worked for a Tier 1 supplier for Ford as a Project Leader and doing some programming. I started with a program for DOS (Pre Mac and Windows) that was a true 3D modeling for Architecture based on the Silver Screen engine. Then I used the first couple releases of Auto CAD which I quit and went back to the Boards as they were so expensive, and the Giant Leader in the field. Then I tried TurboCAD but only had a use for drawing my Radio Controlled Aircraft and Homebuilt Aircraft at that time. Now I am learning FreeCAD as it is Feature Rich (and I can not afford SolidWorks). I am now many years retired/disabled. I miss designing Circuit Boards, Architecture, and Aircraft so I am back at it just drawing and designing. I think I am going to join an online class in CAD to be able to join GrabCAD Challenges since I need to be a student.

I mentioned I am Disabled/Retired. This means I am going to mess up my messaging. I have a closed head injury and tremors. I had an accident with my pickup at night in the fast lane on the Interstate. I hit a 2400 lb round bale of hay. It broke my neck in 4 places and damaged my spine all the way down. So, there WILL be times I don't say something right, I can't remember words, use incorrect words, or I can't type a simple message without taking forever. Not if it happens, but WHEN it happens, and it will, I am sorry.

Hi Bill
Thank you for following me. Nice bio. My first attempt at building a website was with the WYSIWYG ( What You See Is What You Get ), but it frustrated me. I know, too, how difficult writing code was. I'm glad we don't have to do any of that here.

I know you will be successful at WA>

Hi, Chuck,

How are things going? I suspect you are doing very well. I've slowed up for a couple days. My tremors are active and it is hard to type.

Thank you as well. I see where you were FOLLOWING me. Yes, I plan to roll out the second Domain in a couple days (when I get paid!) for Aquaponics. I plan on "teaching" at the beginning so people can't fail. I will be writing a book as I go and will sell it later on. I have been told I am going to fail as it is too hard. Yes, it is 2 Sciences in one and takes some basic understanding of both. Dirt gardening as we know it is going to change for all of us as Climate Change is ruining our growing seasons. Just like the addition of Solar Power and Wind Farms, we will be seeing Aquaculture farms propping up.

I am very familiar with Aquaponics, the reality and myths. I have been working with different systems (for years) to find out how to really make them work and become commercially viable and profitable while maintaining the benefits unique to Aquaponics. Just let me know if I can help.

Hi Bill, Welcome to WA...I am now following you. I have a slight interest in RC aircraft. I don't fly them, but would like to one day. It does fascinate me to be able to fly and not even be in the air. I think I would like being up there with the aircraft better, though. :-)
I wish you the best.

Hey Bob,
Welcome, I am following you as well.

I do what is called "Homebuilts" as well. These are Kit or Plans purchased of light aircraft. When I do actually make money I have one that is 4 place, all fiberglass/carbon aircraft that is complex (Has landing Gear that closes up) and will do 320 mph. I am disabled so I have never been able to get my normal Private License. I went through the training twice so I could fly with an Instructor. But that ends. If I build my own under EAA the Experimental Aircraft Association and qualify it as an Experimental I can fly as the Medical is not as restrictive, and all the FAA garbage will not apply. That has been a dream of mine since I was a young boy. I bought my first Control Line, (Circle Flying by wires), Biplane Model with a 34 in wingspan in 1965. It might have pictures on the net, it was called the Flying Fool, Bright Yellow. This was Pre-RC days. I have been at it ever since. Medically I can not fly Circle anymore. By the second circle, I would be flat on my face and my plane lost to dumb pilot error.

I can't help my love and adoration of aircraft, my favorites are WWII Super Scale. They are harder to fly then Semi-Scale but that is my choice. If you want I'll hook you up with a YouTube that has about a 50-foot wingspan that is built and flown in the video.
