Are you in a hurry to make money?
let's face it, we all want to make money. Right? Otherwise you probably would't be here. And do you want to make money fast? Have you got debts that need clearing? Kids that need feeding? A day job that sucks? Holidays that need to be taken? Do you want to make a contribution to the world?
The thing is, in order to do all that, to make the money, quit the day job, and have a sustainable income - without it being a scam, or get rich quick scheme, it is going to take some time! Time to do the training, time to build the websites, time to build the traffic, time to start earning the money.
It doesn't happen overnight. And that is something i learned after the first time at WA.
2nd time around, i realise that it will take time. How much time you ask? Well that depends on you. How much time will it take for you to do the training? How much time can you spend each day putting into building this business? How many other things do you have to do in your life right now? It is perfectly ok to take whatever time YOU need. Some will spend all day at WA, some only minutes, some once a week. Some have families that need attention, some don't. Please don't compare yourself to others and what others are achieving here - that you may not yet be doing?
Set a realistic goal for recieving your first sale. It is better to beat it easily, than miss your target and give up. I see some awesome targets by new members, and hope they achieve them soon, but remember the bigger the target, the more effort required initially. I.e. If you desire $10,000 a month, what is required for that to happen?
As long as you have goals, (preferably written down so you can see them,) work towards those goals each week, follow the training, you will get there, and it will be correct for you. And with WA training, and the support, you have the best chance of making money.

One thing that I'm trying to focus on this time (also my second try at WA) is that I won't see the change I want tomorrow or the day after that. I think of where I will be one or two years from now. If I had stuck with it three years ago, wow, I'd be so much farther ahead today!
I agree. But it is not helpful to say what if.... Now you are back, with more determination, and more willingness. Perhaps now is a more perfect time to achieve success
You are so right! I have to admit that once in a while I start to feel just a bit jealous of those posting about how they've started making money in the first month or the second while I've passed four months and still haven't made a dime. When those feelings start to come over me I have to mentally take time to remember that I started with no knowledge of this kind of business and I have limited time to spend on it each day. It's important for me to have my own goal based on my own pace, and to just keep moving forward.
Great points. Give yourself a pat on the back. If you have a website up and going, and traffic... well done. Money will flow. Is it a call to action type website or an information site? You might need to add some more buyer type pages to it perhaps? Just a thought. Love to hear when you do your first sale.
One big thing is that I just haven't created enough content yet. It's more of an information type site, though I've begun to add call to action posts. Mainly, I think I need to speed up the number of times I post. I have to do a bit of research for each post and I'm a decent writer, just fairly slow at it.

Hi BeYou, I am like you. This is my second time around. The first time, I just couldn't get into learning what was needed to be successful. Guess I was just to busy with my life to make the time needed to work through the Internet Marketing hurdles. Good to know I'm not alone.

I'm new to this and working through the training portion. I've got a lot of motivation and drive going into starting my own business, and I want to be able to feel this way throughout. Hoping that I do. It's good to read encouragement like this, I'll come back to it if I'm feeling overwhelmed!
