I would make sure this is a plugin issue, as plugins can lead to the wonkiest of issues. If you cannot get this resolved, drop me a PM with the full details of the post/etc. and I will see if I can reproduce (and can also escalate from my end as well).

Hi Nacy, I did have a similar issue and mine was a Plugin, that I had not updated, well that's where I got to before I had no issue no more.

Rob

That is going to be my next step, seeing if it is a plugin issue.

Nancy

Hi Nancy

If it’s not a plugin issue then try resetting your WA (not browser) cache. That worked for me in the past. 😎

Frank 🎸

Another good idea that I have not thought about. Thanks, Frank.

Nancy

You’re welcome, Nancy. 😎

Frank 🎸

Hi Nancy,

Try this:
Deactivate each of your plugins one-by-one.
After you Deactivate a plugin, go do your work that is causing this and see if it works.

If you notice the issue is no longer happening, then that may be a sign that a plugin is causing the issue.

From there, you can report that to sitesupport.

Thanks, Jay. I had not considered it being a plugin, especially since I have not added any new one. But it could be a possibility. I plan to start trying that as soon as I finish up a quick job.

Nancy

Hi Nancy,
I am sorry to hear about your WordPress issues. I am also experiencing some issues with my website. The last time it was because my website was still under an old version of PHP. Did you have the old PHP version?

According to support, everything is up to date and on the new server, I believe they said. I am wondering if whatever they upgraded is not meshing with my website for some reason. At this point, I am at a loss.

Plugins issues?

It shouldn't be; I haven't added anything new. But, maybe I should test them out since there were changes made to the platform.

Thanks for the idea. I will explore that next.

Nancy

I have this happening to me daily, lol. Sometimes, it gets frustrating, but I am also subscribed to Claude. I use a free version of GPT on a different browser, which works better than the premium version.

I have been having a few issues today. They must be having resource issues today, it has been pretty spotty on my end.

You can see they are having issues here:

The new Bootcamp training is in your hub. When you create your hub there’s a question in the wizard that asks you how you’d like to make money: with your own niche or by promoting WA. When you select ‘promoting WA’ the training in that hub will be specific to promoting WA . The first lessons mirror the regular training but then it dives into specifics for taking part in the WA affiliate program. 👍🏼

Ah ha, that is what I needed to know. I thought there had been specific training at one time, but I couldn't find it. Thank you so much. Now, I need to come up with a domain name and create a new hub.

Nancy

Glad to help!

Lol.......... 🤣

You got my hopes up. I was expecting a whacky question!!! :(

Lol.......... 🤣

Well to me, it seemed like a whacky question😄😄😄😄

Nancy

:)

To me a whacky question would be:

If bald people work in a restaurant, do they still need to wear a hairnet?

or

If you have described something as indescribable, haven’t you already described it?

Michael

Yes, I do believe those questions put you in the whacky category.

🤣😂🤪👍

Nancy

Indeed, but they are prime examples of whacky questions.

So I gather there isn't a specific training for the promotional website, it is just the basic training under our hubs (which I haven't finished.) I am also guessing that we need to niche out the promo site, building a domain name etc.

That makes sense. Thanks Ab.

Nancy

Of course, having content that leads to traffic to conversions.

Have a definitive target audience: Folks who you know so well, you understand their issues and can provide solutions; you are at the center of your target audience. You believe it fits you.

You could follow the SEO path, create an MMO (Make Money Online niche website), and use PPC (Pay-per-click) ads, removing search engines from the equation.

You are producing compelling content. You continuously test, double down on what's working, and eliminate what doesn't.

You are diversifying and utilizing social media platforms like UGC, Medium, YouTube, and LinkedIn to find qualified leads.

You could also post a blog for the community and backlink to your MMO niche website.

You are here to help your referrals each step of the way through the Wealthy Affiliate platform.

No, not like the original BootCamp Training.

However, if you create a hub and choosee the option to make money/promote, you can follow lessons that will help you set up your website accordingly.

Rudy

Magnifying glass top menu; that's how I got it. Also once you create your hub, you'll be switch there automatically

Yep, my next step, come up with a new domain.

For you Medium users out there, can you tell me which is the best membership to subscribe to? If I am going to try to drive traffic through Medium, do I need the option to shar

Hi BeadCatz,

When deciding on a Medium membership, it’s important to consider how you plan to use the platform and what features are most relevant to your goals. Here’s a breakdown of the membership options and their benefits:

1. Medium Free Membership:
- Features: Allows you to read and write stories, follow other
users, and engage with content. However, you might have
limited access to member-only stories and features.
- Best For: Casual users or those who want to explore the
platform without any commitment.

2. Medium Membership (Paid):
- Features: Includes access to all member-only stories, offline
reading, and an ad-free experience. It also supports writers
through the Partner Program, where you can potentially
earn money based on reader engagement.
- Best For: If you’re looking to drive traffic and have full access
to all content on Medium, the paid membership is beneficial.
It also provides a better reading experience and supports the
writers you follow.

3 . Medium Partner Program:
- Features: If you plan to publish and potentially earn from
your Medium content, consider joining the Partner Program.
It allows you to monetize your stories based on how much
engagement they receive from Medium members.
- Best For: Writers looking to earn revenue from their content
and engage with a larger audience.

If you’re driving traffic to Medium and want to share your content with a broader audience, the paid membership might be worth the investment. It ensures you can access and share all types of stories, including member-only content, which could be valuable for engaging with a wider audience.

Ultimately, the choice depends on how you plan to use Medium and what features are most important for your goals. If you’re focusing on publishing and driving traffic, investing in the paid membership and Partner Program could be beneficial.

I hope this helps you decide which membership is best for you. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Best regards,
Arisara

Thanks Arisara. I am looking to drive traffic to my website. I know I need a paid membership, I just wasn't which one everyone uses and how beneficial it would be.

Nancy

I am happy with the $5 a month membership. I paid the annual at $40 and in first month earned over $20. For me it can easily pay for itself and actually earn money also.

Mel

This is good to know. It is information I can use to decide which membership to use. I am looking for information from people that use both types of paid memberships to help me make a decision on which one I should buy.

Nancy

It really depends on how you hope to utilize it. You'll find more info here.
