Keeping Perspective
Hi wonderful WA family,
I feel like it's been so long since I blogged as well as doing a tutorial but I was thinking deeply this morning about my holiday with my mother last week.
I'm certainly feeling refreshed (although I did post pre-prepared articles on my website every day.) After 2 + years of study and building my websites I decided I needed a head break and my mum is 84.
As you can see from the picture she really enjoyed the carriage ride around the local wineries and this was a lovely place to stay. Family is precious and isn't that why we are doing all this work?
I know from working in marketing for 15 years that time really flies and when you think about it, this is your life. Not a dress rehearsal.
We are all here to succeed and if you stick at it long enough and do the work you will. But take a moment now and then to make sure that you are still living that life today. Loving your family and friends and building memories that you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
At the end of the day, when you have enough money and things it is the memories that you will cherish the most and the people you love.
That's my 2 minutes' worth.
Time to crack another bottle of wine and toast you all for your talent, persistence, and endurance!

Seems like an awesome idea. That's why next week I am taking several days off and going to Amish country about 90 min from home and visiting any places, and also going to a state park not far from there to go hiking and spend time with my wife who still works full time and needs a break.
Good post and sounds like you had a super time.
Family and balance is key for sure.
