I want to create a website about marriage, but how do I monetize it? Please share your thoughts
Hi April, you are taking on a very important issue. Marriage is a huge institution. There are innumerable aspects to it. The couples experiences are very peculiar, depending on various factors like their age, religion, upbringing, finances, education, career, health, the extended family, and so on. Culture is also a very important factor to consider.
How do couples cope WHEN LIFE HAPPENS? That is the true test.
In essence, what I'm saying is that you need to focus on exactly what area you want to tackle. As far as monetizing goes, it could be, selling marriage counseling books, wedding planning gig, financial planning books for couples, books on child rearing for couples and the list goes on.
I'm really interested in this one.
Never been married, most likely never will. I've been with my partner almost 10 years, very happy, so see no reason to change things. I guess you know what my answer will be to your question.
What exactly do you want to do a website on marriage about? There is so much to the subject. Mind you, weddings are much easier to monetise than marriage. I guess you could look at marriage books for relationship development or possibly courses.
Hello April, I've been Married 12 & a half years & have 4 kids. After we got married we also stay with the inlaws. Alot would to it, so nice to meet someone else that would do that. It would be a interesting subject. All the best.
I'm single and have never been in a serious relationship. If you're passionate about it I think go for it. Relationships that I have been surrounded by have been drama filled and at the end of the day entertaining. What sort of things would you be talking about on your site?
I have been married for almost three years. We have a baby girl and we also take care my mother in law. My husband is an only child, and sometimes its hard to find time for each other. So I will be talking about the challenges of marriage, premarital counseling, preparing to become a husband/ wife and the requirements, marriage & finances, etc. Thanks for your advice!

Marriage... Is it Really Worth All the Hype?
I want to create a website about marriage, but how do I monetize it? Please share your thoughts
April, you got a huge thing going on. It's been seven years and the beliefs and religion we were holding onto when we started our journey, is so different and our perspective have totally changed. The thing is, we have grown together. There are like 100 aspects to define marriage. Take a notebook and list them down and see which one speaks to your heart. Also, get a survey going to see what problem is adamant among married people and see how you can intergrate solutions in your website. The more specific the better e.g, honey moon, the first 6 months, now we are pregnant, culture, finance issues, getaway tradition, house chores, battle of the sexes, maintaining health and sexiness, in-laws, communication language, friends, etc....
You will make it big when you specialize it to a T. All the best darling and am looking forward to seeing greatness emerge from this.

Do anyone have a marketing /blogging schedule or checklist that you would like to share?
I personally use a weekly plan to keep me focused on what I need to do and what I want to do. I started that the beginning of the year and it has been a great tool for me.
It is a good idea to keep a written schedule for your work. Jay is always recommending a "Whiteboard". You should try and write 1 or 2 articles a week for your site, Hope this helps. PS. your little girl is Adorable!
Thank you Meredith! She is the reason why I want to work from home. Is there a training on using the white board?
I don't have like a written down schedule, but I try to put out a new post at least once a day. Sometimes I can't... but its something I try to do.
I try to post everyday too,but I find it hard to come up with content. And when I do come up with a topic ,I get writers block. Lol
