Hi Everyone, Just over three weeks since been here, have been so busy on my site.It's getting bigger & bigger with ideas, half arn't up there yet. When I put in links photo'
I put a comment on your site. Great idea to help the locals find good deals! I would though try to find a way to make the pages more even instead of overlapping one another. I don't know, maybe two or three rows so the drop downs don't overlap the other page titles.....

Hi Ken, Thank you for the message, I did see it, Thank you. I'll have to try & play around with it, don't know if I can.
Don't worry about it too much though...remember - content is King and that is what's important. I just heard Kyle mention simple with a lot of white background...not too many bells and whistles!

hey Carly, first of all New Zealand is a great country, have had the opportunity of travelling NZ for three months in 2002 and still have beautiful memories !
About your site: looks great, lots of content!!
first: maybe remove the link in your header , just make it plain text
second: your menu structure leaves people in a confused situation try to keep yourmenu structure small ( if your template allows it)in other words too much choice at first ( but its very good rich content)
maybe you could create some posts about it reffering to other ways to find help for the budget mama. as if you are telling it to a friend.
some images are pasted in the top of your content, maybe experiment a little to paste them "inside" your content ( like your booksuggestion from Rhodes) paste one image on the left side of your content and one in the middle. just experiment and you will learn on the go (edit image allows you to paste your image evrywhere you want, maybe resize it? just experiment.
further more great content and a great idea that you have !!

Thank You Fred so much for taking the time to take a look & for all the feed back. I have alot for to add, but do need to sort out the Tabs & pictures. Thank you again. I'm glad you have a lot of great memories from New Zealand & that you enjoyed your trip. Now you know where to shop if you are ably to get back for a holiday.

Hi Carly, I think you've made a great start, the important thing is you have content, you now need to work on the look and feel. I would not have so many menu items, try to have broader categories, about 5 or 6 at most, and I would turn off the comments option for each page so it looks less like a blog. Also think about making a customised header, you can do this quite easily with a photo editor program, or design a logo in MS Word and save it as a JPG file, then upload it. Keep at it! Craig

To turn off comments on specific pages go to the Page (or post), edit the page, along the top bar click on Screen Settings and make sure Discussions box is checked, then on the edit page you will find a Discussion section with a check box. Long time no speak, must b over a week...All relative we know here in WA land, what between Kyle & Carson 122,345,335,567,091 keys are hit/day :)
