The Best 2018 New Year Gift
Today is January 1, 2018, the first day of Week, Month, and Year 2018.
At around 1:30 pm, I opened my email and saw an email "Big Unexpected Announcement" from Wealthy Affiliate (WA). I immediately opened the email and here are the first three sentences written by Bo Tipton:
“Okay I have a big announcement.
I am going to drop a bomb. It is the first of the year and time for big changes.
I am going to retire from Internet Marketing. ..”
The immediate response from me is “Ok, I am finally going to hear someone failing at WA and leaving, since I joined WA about one month ago”
A further reading did show his retirement plan. But Bo also announced a generous gift:
“This year starting January 15, 2018, I am going to take 5 volunteers from the Wealthy Affiliate members and form a master mind group. My goal is to have all 5 members making $1000 a month.”
I quickly read through the article and immediately sent a private message to Bo: “I would like to apply for the program you announced. It could be the best New Year gift for me. Have a wonderful 2018!”
I got instantly response from Bo: “What time zone are you in? Did you read the requirements and agree to them? Would you be able to make a 1 hour meeting a week? And Do you have Skype?”
After answering the above questions, I connected with Bo through Skype. After 2 minutes conversation, he accepts me as his apprentice.
What a wonderful 2018 New Year gift!
I guess that the other 4 apprentices had the similar experiences to mine. By around 5 pm, Bo setup a WA Gogetters Group at Skype and all members were in. I could feel from the Skype messages that every one of us were extremely excited about the surprising gift and amazing opportunity.
By 6:18 pm, Bo gave us the first assignment. One of the first things you are going to do is to go watch this: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/kyles-first-live-class-learn-from-my-last-14-years/play. Your task will be to find five things in there that Kyles says that will help you.
I completed watching the video and then start to write this post. Here is five things Kyles described in the video will help me in my online business:
1. There is no difference between online business and offline business
Fundamentals of online business and offline business are the same. It is important to have passion and commitment on what you do.
Like offline business, online business needs diversification. For affiliate market, don’t just focus on single company, instead work with different affiliate program.
2. Don’t afraid of competition.
No matter what kind of business you pursue, there is competition. Know the competition and the competitors, try to avoid strong competitors, but don’t afraid of them.
When starting something new, it is not possible to know everything. Keep learning, acquire new knowledge, and gradually become authority in your selected niches.
3. Understand business sequence
Understand the order of the business. For online business, starting with website, enriching your website with useful content, and attracting traffics. With sufficient traffics, then promote relevant affiliate products.
It is important to know it is impossible to try everything in the same time. Don’t make thing complicated. Do one thing at a time.
4. Never give up
For any business, it is not possible to success on the first trial and it is necessary to go through the trial and error process. When the projects don’t work, it is ok to give up the failed niche, but pick-up new niche. With experience you earned from the failed business, you could establish new business with higher success rate.
5. People, people, and people
Although we are working on online business, human elements are the key factor for the success. People are the driving factor for everything, from traffics to sales of affiliate products. While designing your online business, put people first.
The apprenticeship awarded to me by Bo Tipton could be a game change for me. With positive cash flow, I could work on online business full time on my two website: rebrandsmoking.com and kcancer.com. This is going to change my life. This is the Best 2018 New Year gift to me!

Anthony I didn't read it right. Yes I am on board. I thought you wrote it. But after the second time around it was Bo's.
He was offering it to WA members. I joined in.
He goal was to get 5 he now ended up with 12.
He made it clear that what we learn his 12 disciples to share it with WA members like you.....and I promised I will.

I went over it 7 times and still learning something. Kyle has alot ot say because of the 16 years of experience. He did it Dec. 2016.
