Hi Annie,

Have a watched of Kyle's training video? See if anything pops out at you. It is usually straight forward. Maybe the image you are uploading is not the correct size?

Thank you! I'll take a look at that. I didn't realize there was an additional video for that. Much appreciated.

I wrote an article the other day & only got half way through my points & it already got to 1,600 words so I stopped it there. Can I write a part 2 so I can write about

Your article can be as long as you want it to be. The longer it is, Google likes it better.

So do not split your keyword between two articles. Google will penalize you for that.

I hope this helps.

Cheers.

Edwin

Oh, but Kyle said that if the article, or even one of the paragraphs, is long people won't bother to read it. That one would be like almost 4,000 words. Wouldn't people refuse to read that long?

You could also combine them into one pillar article.

Mel

Yes, you can indeed the more the merrier :-)

Thank you!!!

No (in my opinion). It is called keyword cannibalisation. You defo don't want to do that.

When it comes to ranking google will select which one of the two articles to rank for that very same keyword. Besides, it just does not look at all that great in search results when one site dominates the results - research shows you get a lower click-through rate.

There is no reason as to why you can't or should not write longer than 16,000 articles - a few of mine a 10,000 word plus and one 15k words.

But you should NOT cannibalise keywords. Big no-no

Sorry I didn't realize the title KW was keyword I just read your post and not the title properly. Although I wouldn't recommend trying to rank lots of articles with one keyword I would use a combination of them. That being said I am not so in love with the Google Gods that I will not use the same keyword in a post more than one time, Hence my 101 Blogging Tips Title on 101 Posts. :-)

Okay, so then you don't think people will think it's too long & just not read it? Bc in the training videos Kyle said that people don't like reading things that are long & that even if any single paragraph has too many sentences people will stop reading. That's the only reason I didn't keep going. I was just worried about people taking one look at the length & going to a different site. With a shorter article.

Longer articles get more on site time. The key is not to "babble on" and to keep the reader engaged.

Thanks! I'll combine them!
