Thanks for another great lesson Kyle. I just checked a gravatar I set up five years ago and it is still working. I'm not sure why but a few years ago I was no longer able to post comments on a friend's website. I think if I keep digging I will work out why.
Hi Kyle, I am trying to follow what you are explaining in relation to adding a Gravatar and you skipped really quickly through picking up your email in relation to confirmation. I am unsure exactly where to pick up my email - it looks like the back office in the video, but I can't find anything in my website back office which relates to emails - can you help please. I reckon I have been here previously but failed and given up so a quick response would be amazing to keep me in forward motion cheers!
It depends what email address you used. If you used your email that you created here for a particular domain, you find that under Websites => SiteManager and then go to the SiteEmail tab.
Here is the direct link for that:

If you used a gmail account or otherwise, you would simply log into that account to get the conformation. I hope this helps you out Sian, but if you need anything else moving forward, let me know. :)
I waited for over an hour before I posted in here after trying many different things over and over. I thought I checked my spam box even a couple different times for the email and didn't see it. Well I went back again and actually finally found it, clicked through and now my sight is recognizing my Gravatar for the third site. Was rewarding I figured it out myself! ;-)
Awesome, really glad you sorted this out and going through the process and figuring it out like you have has led to a newfound "gravatar" skill set. ;)
Hi Kyle, I presently started 3 websites here in WA. Don't worry I will not be starting anymore! Not until I work hard to get these at a level I can within time.
I got two of the sites to accept my Gravatar profile photo (all different Gravatar accounts with different emails and photos) but the third will not go through from some reason. It says it is waiting for confirmation and I logged back in and they sent me an email to confirm it but for some reason this particular site is not working. Any suggestions?

I did set up avatar. Prior to that I made 2 comments on a post and showed up as admin no picture. How can I know show avatar in old comments? Or would that be for all new comments made? Also I would like to resize a picture in post. Can that be done?--ty--mb
Whenever you change your Gravatar image it'll automatically update even in the old comments.
As for resizing a picture, yes. Click on the image, and look on the right. There is Width and Height. You can edit there.
