Life Happens
I lost one of the most influential and important people in my life today. I haven't been able to see her in person for many years and it has been my long time prayer that I would get to see her again before she passed.
But I guess the Lord knows best because it didn't happen. I'm numb.
One thing you always knew with "Aunt Wonderful" was no matter what you did, she would always love you - unconditionally. She was the one who was always there when I needed her. She was never too busy. She always made sure you knew you were loved and she always told you what you needed to hear.
I'm going to miss her so much. I feel like I have a deep emptiness. This is going to take some time for sure.I debated saying anything here but everyone here has become like a second family. I wanted you to know the reason if I don't respond much in the next few days.
I imagine I will still work some to keep my mind busy. I've never been one of those types that needed to "talk" about their feelings. I will be okay. I just need a little time.
