I had someone to redo my iready website to a wordpress website, problem with backend plugins now affect my updating the site. What is the best way to completely start over?
Have you tried deleting the plugins? Whatever platform your website was previously on, probably used plugins that are not compatible with WordPress.
William, I don't know what the answer is, as it not plugins.

Thank you for your reply, yes the link you sent is a good example of the plugin needed. I have an iReady commercial website that has these online applications built into the site. I was able to copy the site to my wordpress site except for the online loan applications. I got the source code but its seems that it needs to be modify to work for my website. Do you or could you recommend some to modify the code to work for my site and at what cost for it to be done?
I'm afraid I don't know any member who would do this but perhaps you could do it yourself following these instructions -

I would copy the articles (post and pages) HTML and past into the WP theme as new post and pages. Carson can tell you a better way if you send him a ticket under "websites and hosting." John
Most of the time it is simpler to just start a new Wordpress site than to try to 'convert' a site from a different format.

I made them inactived, but still having back-end problems.
