I like all the comments below and agree, but want to interject that I think you should start with the one you are most passionate about. Then do the other one. Both are great!
Hi Emma (or Amme???) :-)
I've also had a LOT of questions regarding the niche I should go into, so I did some digging around in the Live Video Classes.
Check out some of Jay's tutorials there - I particularly found this one to be helpful: 6 Week Schedule to Profits.
Also, I really enjoyed Nate's article on niches here: Nate's Niche Reveal.
From what I've heard, a market can't be 'too competitive' when you find a niche within that market which meets the criteria of a niche (i.e. low competition, reasonably high monthly searches).
What you probably need to do is find out whether you truly have a niche within the photography market.
Hope this helps?

Hello Emma
Don't limit yourself to just one niche. It's just a matter of which one you want to start with. You obviously have a strong passion for both photography and dogs. And even if you choose a niche in a competitive market, you just have to make your slice of that market uniquely yours. People like to connect with other people; it's in our nature, and If you write with personality and originality, the people will come.
I have one niche that I'm focusing on right now, just to get established and build up my content. However, I have at least 2 others that I will be pursuing as well.
I am no expert and I still consider myself to be a newbie. You will have to choose your own niche but I have a question for you? What is your passion and what do you really want to do? If you follow that then you will have a good direction to go. Also you may want to do keyword search of both terms and see how much competition you have with each.
why not go with both Amme most people on here have more than 1 niche, and you have 2 very interesting niches

Sorry to bother you loverlies but my sister just went on to my site, which is still very much a work in progress, and there was a weird game add on the left. The domain and host
Hi Amme, did this resolve? I just visited your site and the only ad I see is for WA in the right sidebar.
I haven't been able to find the source but pleased you don't see anything, thank you :-)
Hi Amme,
This issue could be that Godaddy has added this or it could that there is some sort of spambot on your sister's computer.
If you share the website address, I could take a look and try to replicate the issue. This will determine if it something with Godaddy.

OK had a look and clicked a bunch of stuff.. nothing popped up.
So, my guess is that there may be an issue with your sisters computer.
What is the website? Also, it may be at the very bottom of the page when you are in your iPad. If so it may just be a widget you need to delete.

I edit photos for people to use as profile pictures, website headers, on their CV, wedding pics, modelling etc. (red eye, blemish removal, wrinkle reduction, eye brightening, sk
Try "professional photo editor" in the WA keyword research tool. You will probably have more ideas.
Photoshop editor is probably something that I would type, or picture editing, those 2 things would probably be the first things I type. Or How to edit your picture...
What would you type in to google?
