David are these members of WA? If so maybe you can ask them how they did it? Just a thought!!!
Hey David, look Jude Banks comment. How can a visitor get around having to register on wordpress to leave a comment on my website?
Hi, check your settings for Users (on your Wordpress dashboard) and be sure you have Akismet activated to prevent spam.
Thanks so much and I do, but I still don't understand how someone can register on my website when there is no place for them to do it. Any Ideas?
Go into your Wordpress back office.
1. Go into your "General Settings". Five lines down, you'll see Membership with box saying "Anyone Can Register". Uncheck that box. Save it.
2. Go into the "Users" And delete all the Users and Save

Okay, I am going to try this one more time, because I don't think I was very clear the first time. I need help!!!
1. I have an iPad I am trying to get MY EMAIL FROM MY WE
Not a big fan of apple products David, however, we have a laptop, iPad, iPod and a couple of iPhones belonging to my wife and kids. Whenever they tell me they are having problems with them, my surly answer is not often appreciated.
However, my wife had similar issues getting e-mail from her work account and resolved it by having all the mail re-directed to her Apple e-mail account, problem solved.
Go to your site here at WA by clicking on the link under Tools in the left column, then Websites and Hosting, then click on the link at the top that says "Site Email" and one of the tabs says "New forward" and you can send all your mail to your Apple account from there.
The other alternative is to get your mail from AtMail, as Welshy suggested, by going to webmail.yoursite.com in your Safari browser.
Thanks, but unfortunately that doesn't help. My problem is after I do that and log in. Can't open up an individual email at all
I have the same problem! I use my iPad, laptop, and Galaxy S5 phone for all sorts of different things.
I tried multiple search engines on the iPad, chrome, photon, safari, and internet explorer... I still have the same problem. I'm getting a new tablet in a few months and it won't be an Apple!
I don't have any email account here to test, but you could also try going directly to the login url.
It would be something like:
http://webmail.yourdomain.com
http://mail.yourdomain.com
Personally I would have it setup as another mail account, not sure if settings have changed, but if you look at video description you'll see the setting that worked previously Send & Receive Your Domain Email via Gmail
Or the app Darren mentioned could be the easiest option.
David I'm sorry your having this problem! I did something to my ipad and deleted all of my apps. I said what the he.. is going on! Lol I'm working on putting my website together, and that's challenging too.
Try using myMail app you can get it from the App Store it works for me on my iPad and iPhone, I had a similar problem this app fixed it for me.
Darren
is this specifically for yor website here at WA when you log into it here on the WA servers, hosting?
Yes, I use myMail App on iPad and iPhone for my WA mail, using WA hosting mail settings.
Have you raised a ticket with support? Support will often have a solution to most problems, it's their job to do so and you pay for it as a Premium Member so it's worth taking advantage of.
Forgot to ask, is it a new ipad? Is this of any help to you?
Tapping an icon is the same as clicking it, double-tapping is the same as double-clicking, and for hard-to-access links, a tap-and-hold gesture will be interpreted as a double-click. If double-tapping is not working, the most common explanation is that one of the accessibility features in iOS -- usually Zoom or VoiceOver -- is turned on. Both of these features cause the default single-tap and double-tap behaviors to change.

Thanks, but I am not the only one having this issue. It is not a user error issue. Do you have have an iPAD, Apple product?
That 'hint' or whatever you call it, was supposed to be 'the' answer...so much for the experts....I would get in touch with Apple support and see if there is some type of 'patch' for the issue....but good luck, they are a pill to pin down on anything....
Cant you just 'tap' it? Like you do to open your regular email? My son opens his regular email that way?
Well...That sucks. I can access my email app but can not open them. I can reply to an email but it still will not show the content. Think you may want to open a support ticket. Otherwise I have no idea. :(

Does anyone know how to open an email on an iPad after you log in on our email here for our website at WA? When I double click it, it does the normal iPa
Until now i have done most on my iPad and it work wery well for me but havent try to Create a special mail for my domain jet.
I have a kindle fire, I was able to login into one of my email list from one of my domains hosted in WA hosting service and it works with my device.
No David, it is a tablet designed by amazon, when you started with your question yesterday I decided to use my tablet to see if I would have the same issues like you, but of course as I stated yesterday I do not have the same issue as you, that will pinpoint the issue strictly to your ipad, that is an apple issue.
Hey David, unfortunately I cannot help you but I can confirm that I have this exact same problem on my iPad, and it's pretty much the only thing that keeps me from completely running everything from my iPad. It would be nice if we could get some sort of fix or workaround for this.
Cool! At least I am not the only one, at least someone knows what I am going through, LOL! I wish there was a way to open it that we could know of... It is the only think keeping me from running everything from my iPad also. I know Kyle uses a lot of Apple products, so I wonder if he is aware of this...
Yep, misery does love company :) I know right, you'd think he would have noticed this by now. Maybe it's an atmail issue or something that WA has no control over.
Just one question, I understand now what you want to accomplish, is the browser in the ipad the culprit? can you install another browser perhaps chrome? Just an idea...
That was a good guess, and I tried that, but that didn't help either. This is apparently an issue with apple software on an iPad... It won't let me double click the email and there is not any other way to open it that I am aware of. Does anyone else know if there is another way?
I didn't even realize we have access to an email acct. here in WA. Can you please let me know how to access it? Thanks so much. Sharon
This is the email for your website. When you go to log on to your website, you can access email. I assume since you have been here for a while and have a website you know what I am talking about. Also, there are personal messages you can receive here if you click on the mail icon at the top of the page which I assume you know about also.
Are you referring to notifications and discussions, as well as PMs? If so, I would hardly consider them email. That is why I was taken aback by your post. One should never assume David. You know the consequences. Thanks.
Could someone send me a personal message so I can see if I can access them. Thanks. Don't have a website yet, so can't check for email.
Did you solved? If you have not try this: http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-open-and-read-email-on-your-ipad.html
Thanks, but that is not what I was asking. I need to know how to open an email on my website here at WA after I have logged in. When I click on it, it doesn't open.
