Life gets in the way
Seems like I tend to let life get in the way of my progress way too much. I am constantly thinking about my website and how to improve it, how to improve my life and finances, but seem to let other things (especially self doubt) get in the way. Well, we are in a new month, almost a new year; even though I had the New Year back in September, and my goal is to stop allowing other things to run my life. I am making a start right now!
I have a new iPad, that I can take with my everywhere and will be able to truly work on my site whereever and whenever I want. I will be able to maintain what is already there, and continue to create new content. I plan on becoming more active again here at WA. I do miss everyone here, and really need to get back to communicating here again.
I have made progress in some other areas of my life, having started writing my book about creating your ideal life, which goes along with my website and thus started working on my coaching program, which also is from my site. So there are some progresses, just not necessarily where it can be seen by the outside eye.
Just wanted to keep everyone up to date with where I have been recently.

I think many of us feel we never do enough, Alison. You're making progress and that's what counts. Debbi is right (sui_generis). If you write it all down, you'll be surprised at what you see. Try it!
I understand where you're coming from I don't feel like I've accomplished my WA goals but it has propelled me into other things that aren't WA related and that's good too. Starting your book is not a minor feat. I bet if you said down and wrote down everything you've done, you'd be surprised. Just figure out where you are now and where you want to be and go for it.

Hi Alison. There are always going to be life distractions. We just have roll with it. If we have to pull back a little bit for a minute, so be it.

Thanks!! I know I just need to stop allowing others to control my life, which is something I have been working hard on over the past few years. Not easy, but definitely feels much better!
I have went through that myself, one too many times. I live alone now and it wasn't easy to get there, but I did it and I am very happy with my situation at the moment. It seems that when I get asked by the other gender, they can't seem to understand how I could be happy that way...Lol...okay...your not getting it I guess...not saying that about all the other gender however, just in case anyone else reads this....Take care Alison and have a productive week. :))

Even though I started this journey knowing that it would not come together over night, I too catch myself with the feelings you have expressed. Some how a sense of urgency sets in. Maybe this is normal until at least one of our sites starts to generate revenue on a regular basis.
We all do have our lives to live and that is how it should be.
