Hello everyone!

Hope you're doing great today, I guess you might be busy already creating new content to add to your website, today I just want to share a short blog on these three things successful people don't do to reach success.

Procrastination - the action of delaying or postponing something.

As you work on your website there will be many things to do almost every day:

  • Write new content.
  • Create different type of content for a post like: make a video, posts for Social Media, info graphics, images to add to your post, and more.
  • Get comments on your blog.
  • Share your content on Social Media.
  • And more.

After you finish your "to do list", you need to think about what post you should be writing next, the work as a blogger or as an online entrepreneur never stops.

If you stop working and you delay the work for tomorrow, or next week, your website never will be ready to fit your client expectations.

While you wait for better times to keep working on your website, your competence is working right now on it next post.

Perfection - the condition, state, or quality of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defects.

How many times you have written a post and you keep it as a draft just because you think it's not good enough to be published.

You might want to check that post again later, and look for more information to add on it.

To be honest, I've a couple of posts just like this, I want to reach at least 1000 words to publish them.

Don't wait for every post to be perfect, it needs to be good enough for you and for your client, as you get some comments on your new blog post, you'll get more information about it and more feedback.

You can always edit the blog post and add more information for your client and more words.

Your new content needs to be publish like "new blog post 1.0"

When you edit it will get 1.1, and later it will get 1.2 and it'll get better.

You can also learn as you walk on your own path, your websites first blog post might not be the best, but later you'll become an authority of your niche and you'll be learning more and sharing higher quality articles.

Don't wait for something to be perfect, it's better to be published on your website than saved as a draft waiting to be perfect, your audience is already looking for it.

Paralysis by analysis - is the state of over- analysis (or over-thinking) a situation so that a decision or action is never taken, in effect paralyzing the outcome. A decision can be treated as over-complicated, with too many detailed options, so that a choice is never made, (Wikipedia)

- What if my audience don't like this article.

- What if Google doesn't like it?

_ What will happen if my new content doesn't reach 1000 words?

And so many questions about a new article you can think of before you type the first word,

Yes, I know by experience, some articles will never reach success on the internet and after you put a few hours or even days on it, those articles will never get many readers at all.

But you're building up your own website, it will have a few great articles, and people will find you, Google will love you and you'll get a few (many) sales from it.

You need to keep working on your website consistently to create an online business.

Every article is good, and as a whole your website will reach success, keep at it.

Hello Alejandra,

Thank you for your excellent blog post, I really appreciated reading your post. The advice you have given is excellent, I believe that sometimes as humans we overcomplicate things, but actually all we need to do is to keep it simple and to take action and to be consistent.

Enjoy your day.

Roy

Hola Alejandra,

Los 3 Ps son perfectos.
In January I updated all my posts from the 2 websites.
Learning you advance and then it can happen that what you wrote like a year ago you now see with different eyes.
I think that by 2019 I could give everything again a little facelift.
By the way, Pinterest is really helping, I like it

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske.

Me da gusto que te hay gustado este blog!!
As you say, it's true, I use to write new content for my website today, but I will reread it in a few months and I will find some points I want to improve or rewrite.
A website is a project we all should be working on. One good example is WA, they have been working to make it better lately, and they have created a better platform, it works great!!

Buen Domingo, saludos!!
Alejandra.

Really good advice, Alejandra. I needed that! Carol

Thank you Carol, I'm glad you liked this blog and you find it will help you!
Have a great day

You're welcome. Have a great week. Carol

Thanks for sharing, Alejandra.

I thank you ;)

You're welcome.

This a really thought provoking post. I guess I have been guilty of all three at some point on my online journey.
Thank you for sharing.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

It happened to me too, until someone told me about these three P's.
Since that day, I can focus on my to do list to create more content for my website, I know I can work again to improve it as I get feedback from my readers or as I keep learning more about my niche and my product.
Thanks for your comment Karen.
Have a nice day!!

Great post Alejandra, thank you for sharing.

I thank you FlorencioQ :)

Excellent outline! I have published a few posts under 1000 words and get back to them within a few weeks to add more. But right away I start getting comments on them to keep adding value.
Improvements are always ongoing!

I love your 3 P's, they are Perfect, Alejandra!

Thank you, now I need to think about the good P's to write a perfect blog post ;)

Oh, yes Alejandra!
I need those three positive P's!
You know my name start with a P.
;-)

Make that 4 Alejandra, you now have another "Perfect" P!

This is a great read. There are many facts on creating a website to perfection. But like you said, we need to keep pushing the content with consistency despite its quality.

My usual dose is taking an article per week and hoping to see if it can be done double fold.

Thanks for sharing this very useful information.

Have a fab weekend.
Cheers!

Just Keep At It. Have a great week end.

I will!! have a great week end you too :D
