How To Add #Hashtags On Youtube

Hello everyone,

Making videos for your online business is another way to create and share great value content.

Youtube is a platform that might help you to get traffic to your website.

I keep working on my website and a few months ago I decided to start making videos to share them on Youtube.

I must say not all the videos work the same way, some will work fantastic and will get lots of views soon, and some videos will work slow.

Today, as I was looking to my competence, I noticed this person has a video with lots of views and comments on the same niche as me.

My question was: how come this video gets tons of views and not my videos?

Then I noticed this video had a couple of #Hashtags on it !!!!

In read and everyone could see them!!!!

It was a AHA moment for me, I need to try to get some hashtags on my videos too!!

But how can I add a #hashtag on my video?

So I decided to try to get it. This is what I did and it worked OK, I only added #hashtags to a couple of my videos and see how it works, if this work better than I will add some #hashtags to the rest of my videos.

Step 1 -

You can see here my video has not a hashtag here.

Step 2 -

Go to the edit video button and click on it.

Step 3 -

Your Youtube channel dashboard will open and you can see you can edit your video description.

Step 4 -

On this photo below, I will share two steps to follow:

1 - On the top of the description for your video, add the #hashtags you want for your niche.

2 - Click on the SAVE button.

Step 5 -

On this photo below, now you can see I have the two #hashtags on my video. :)

I don't know how many #hashtags are allowed to add on Youtube, but I only added two, I will wait a few days to check on how good these two videos with #hashtags do.
