Alan...I certainly understand how you feel...I was kind of feeling that same way up until 2 years ago. Sure, I had made a couple of sales, but nothing that I wanted to brag about especially when you consider all the long hours I had put into it!

But, that all changed when I found a niche that I could actually put all my heart and soul into. Instead of just trying to make sales, I started contributing to that niche and the profits just seemed to follow.

Like me, a lot of people are making profits online outside of the affiliate training field...don't give up!

Besides the great training that you get here on the WA...you get a lot of info, input, and suggestions that I don't believe that you can get from almost anywhere else. Sure, it does cost money, but I can now say that money was well spent!

Don't give up...read, listen, study, and learn...besides enjoyment, the profits will come.

I know you may have been suckered in the past but you have to forget all that and take a different approach to things.
Here at WA the mindest is to make you successful at running your business.
Now I know it looks like here we go again approach but honestly it isn't.
I like you Baby website the other one wouldn't display, but don't bother with building backlinks, those will build naturally.
Focus on keywords and articles, write about each individual item on your site.
Don't write salesy articles though.
Use Street Articles it's totally free.
Join some Forums focusing on Babies - put baby + forum into Google.
Pregnant Mom's.
Don't worry about the rank of your site either, traffic will build that.
Because if you don't tell people about your site, how will they know it's there?

Hello Alan, welcome to WA and thanks for the follow. Very valid points you are raising. There are thousands of scam artists out there trying to take your money for nothing worthwhile in return. I believe you have come to the right place to learn about IM. Get stuck into the training, apply what you learn and keep on keeping on. Success will follow. Remember, Rome was not built in a day! First of all well done for raising these issues as I am sure many of us at some time will have had those thoughts , and I have yet to see anyone in WA get "slaughtered" for these types of honest questions. This community is here to help and encourage all members. You are right about the gurus, money first and no value delivered. Therefore give them a miss as they are quick fix offers which will not deliver. Here at WA you learn how to build a business and let's face it this is real life. You don't get a business handed to you on a plate and you have to work hard and educate yourself how to be successful. The big advantage of WA is access for help when you need it, and the fact you have control over your own destiny.

Good article. I've tried other "gurus" too and was just throwing my money away. I'm spending time learning here because it's something I never received before. The others want you to buy first and then maybe you will get some training or maybe you have to figure it out on your own like I did. So I'm going slow here, taking the training, interacting on live chat and now have my niche figured out. I will begin developing that and listen to the experts here. Welcome aboard!

I understand how you feel alanb! But I think you're in the right place to get the training you need. Take advantage of Kyle & Carson's advice as well as many others who have successfully made it in this business. It's no "how to get rich quick" scheme here at WA! Don't give up yet! You're might be just around the corner for your breakthrough ;-)

Nothing controversial about this at all Alan. There is a lot of programs out there that simply do not help, they are in it for the business (your business) and they often time don't have the credentials to help you out.

I can tell you that you are in the right place to learn the correct techniques from people who are successful. You also have the ability to network with many others here within the community, most of whom are promoting within niches that are unrelated to making money online.

Your laptop website is broken, so that would be why this site is not performing for you. Your Ilovebabyshop.com has absolutely no content. It simply links to Amazon products. You will not get rankings or traffic to this site without content, this is something that you will learn very quickly within the training here.

Also, if you are still getting backlinks, STOP. They are not good for business and will actually hurt your rankings. Back-linking is in the past and you no longer need backlinks to get rankings in the SERPS, in fact they can and will hurt you if done incorrectly (which they are done most of the time).
