Tuesday 23rd January 2018 - A Very Important Day In My Life!

My day started off as usual, woke to the Opportunity Chimes on my clock (not called it an alarm for a long time) at 5.30 , fresh brewed coffee waiting for me in the kitchen, took it back to bed and worked on WA for an hour before getting up, showered , breakfast and off to my offline business.

Arrived at clients house at 8.15 and worked (installing floorcovering) through to 1pm, took a 30 minute break for a quick sandwich and cup of tea whilst catching up on client phone calls and checking into WA. Finished the installation at 7pm and drove 1hr back home feeling exhausted as it is heavy work and been a long day.

Took a shower and popped a meal for one in microwave as my better half is away at present, watched a bit of Dragons Den (similar to shark tank) whilst eating and then feeling ready to flop into bed needed to work on an estimate for a new client and prepare invoices for following day.

Now The Best Part Of The Day!

After being in business for the last 40 years I know exactly what it is to procrastinate and find excuses to put things off and actually on Tuesday I think I could have been forgiven for choosing bed and sleep, but I also know the power of action and motivation so grabbed a bottle of water and headed for my office (home office).

I found Wealthy Affiliate about 3 weeks ago after doing long and thorough research as I have over the years joined memberships and even paid for yearly and lifetime memberships to find they just fizzle out and die a death as the founders decide to move on to their next golden opportunity with little regard for all the people who have paid out hard earned cash to be a member of their groups.

I logged into WA and started on my next Certification Course lesson,it was about 10.30pm by now. I was progressing nicely and nearing the end of Course 3. After completing one lesson I took a look at the activity stream and commented, answered questions where I had the knowledge of the subject being discussed and the noticed a few people were blogging about how excited they were as they had received a private message from Kyle accepting them into the Super Affiliate program. I was genuinely pleased for them and congratulated many.

I glanced up to actually check my ranking number and noticed there was a private message notification so clicked on it expecting a welcome to WA message or similar.

I NEARLY FELL OFF MY CHAIR!!!

The message was from Kyle congratulating me as I was accepted into the Super Affiliate Program. I read the message about 4 times before it actually sank in. I joined between Christmas and New Year and now can't wait to get stuck in, work extra extra hard to follow all the directions and keep up with all the other deserving members accepted into the program.

Dedication and Consistency Pays Off In Every Area of Life

It has only been a short time since I joined this family but there has not been a day when I haven't done something to move me forward in my WA journey, however little the steps may have been some days, a mountain is climbed one step at a time, if you stop and give up you never make it to the top, if you move just a few yards a day you will reach the top of that mountain and your goals in life.

I will remember Tuesday 23 January 2018 as a turning point in my life. I eventually crawled into bed about 1.30am still feeling ecstatic.

I will move mountains to succeed in this program, I have to keep working my offline business's as that is what pays the bills and puts food on the table but I have renewed youth and energy and will do whatever it takes to reach my goal of Super Affiliate.

Congratulations to everyone else who also received this fantastic news and I hope to get to know more of you on this journey.

To those who applied but didn't get in this time, do not look on it as a failure in any sense , in 40 years of running a business I have had many "failures", they have been but steps forward on my journey, learning experiences, in fact the word "failure" doesn't exist in my vocabulary so I wish every single member of WA massive success on their journey.
