OK, so I have a .com domain to which I've added a subdomain to reflect what my niche is all about.
I haven't added any content in my .com domain, but I've created my website
Here is advice from Domain name solutions Marie! http://www.networksolutions.com/education/create-subdomains/
Click on Websites& Hosting and look for your sub-domain. It should be listed there. Search for the text: "Indexed in Google". If it says "no" you have to be patient. Google will probably index your subdomain in a few days. It can take up to 14 days.
