Finally, My First Blog!
Greetings, Fab Folks!
I haven't yet written a blog, mostly because I'm too busy working through the lessons & adding to my site. However, now's the time to do it! My WA journey so far has led me down a most interesting, confusing, sometimes frustrating & illuminating path! For the most part, I really am enjoying the whole experience & learning so much (with plenty more to learn!)
My website is Garden Goodies (goodies4gardens.com) where I plan to provide advice & information on all things relating to garden decor. I hope to be able to point visitors in the right direction so they can find what they're looking for & make fresh discoveries also. I have six affiliate links so far which I'm very pleased about.
The things I struggle with are mostly technological terms so I try to research them to gain a better understanding. Code is a tricky little world that I don't like to mess with but have managed to paste affiliate links in there! Often I find that, when adding images to a post/page in Wordpress, the edit page looks good, just the way I want it but then when I view the post/page on the actual website, the image is in quite a different position! That's been a very frustrating issue although I'm slowly figuring ways around it.
I'm looking forward to becoming more accomplished & obtaining more knowledge in the whole internet marketing/website design area. Also it'll be great when I earn my first bit of income, whenever that will be, no rush!
Plans & goals for the next three months: Create a Facebook page for my site, add social media links, add more affiliate links, gather more keywords, research further into my niche & create more quality content.
Plans & goals for the next six months: Learn how to attract more traffic, check out useful plugins, continue adding content, & generally improve my site by following the lessons & picking WA members' brains!
I still consider myself very much a beginner here but you've got to start somewhere & WA is a great foundation to build upon. The help & support from the entire WA community is most appreciated & truly uplifting & vital!
