Retiring at 35!
If I had a little more faith in myself, believed in myself and just have been a little more resourceful and will to take a gamble or two I would have been there! Retired at 35! In hindsight we are all geniuses, but what did I learn from it?
It is amazing how if you have to, you can make things work. When I told my 6-month pregnant wife that I was retrenched and I did not have a job, I promised her we will make it and make it we did! That was 4 years ago this month!
My family was blessed, I now have a second daughter a lovely new house, I am a partner in an accounting firm and currently working on my second business venture, is online marketing.
The difference between me and a multi-millionaire is he was willing to take a chance and he was resourceful! I now have a chance to be resourceful on my terms and not because I have to be!
I am no fool and I know that nothing will happen unless I make it happen and that it is going to take some time and effort! The key is to work smarter not harder and to leverage my time, do I have all the answers? No, but I will get them!
Watch this space!
Retiring soon!

You have the right attitude to reach your goal. The twists and turns is where we learn......and continue on. All the best.

Best wishes for your goal of early retirement, I wish you every success in your online adventure.
It's great to be goal driven to the extent of retirement being your goal and I applaud that.
Personally I have many goals but I haven't put retirement as one of those. I am approaching my 6th decade and my current goal is to continue working through to the next 2 decades at least.
I am changing things a bit and taking a new path or journey which will suit my health/age going forward from her.
Hi Andrew
I think it is all relative, what some people see as work might just be a hobby for you!
Good luck with all the changes.
