Branding and positioning Yourself

I have written posts on this before and I wanted to highlight how important this is to your business.
If you are an affiliate you are selling the same product as thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of other affiliates out there.
You have to set yourself apart for everyone else. Find your Value Selling Point and develop your message based on this.
When you have done this you need to identify your audience then get to know them better than you know yourself. Find out what they are interested in, where they hangout and what they are talking about. Find out what groups they hangout with and most importantly what is their pain.
You need to find a solution to their pain. Something you can offer them they can use immediately. A quick and easy solution you can give to them in the form of a lead magnet.
If you offer a real solution that works for them you are half way to gaining their trust. At this point they obviously know you and probably like you. Next is building trust and your follow up from this point is critical to building the relationship.
Do your work, firstly to understand yourself then your audience. When you have this right you need to build your funnel with your lead magnet. Remember you need to keep your back end product in mind and educate your leads towards your product.
This means your contact with your lead, whether through email, video or social media should always be leading them towards your back end product.
Most Affiliate Marketers don't bother to do this and think they can sell their product by just promoting it. No way, you might be luck with a couple of sales but if you build a relationship with your followers and educate them towards your product the selling will be almost automatic.
