The reason of this question is in a newsletter from an Italian internet marketer. He says that it is "an established fact" that a blog does not pay you for the amount of time yo
I think that whole theory is that you make a squeeze page offering a freebie to get peoples email addresses then kinda spam them with marketing products. honestly there's a lot of it on the internet, and from what I've seen over time they don't end up making money. its so much better to have a website and establish yourself so people learn to trust you. btw conversions to sales is extremely low thru email marketing. thru wa you should learn how to use keywords effectively to bring in your traffic. most bloggers have no idea of the use of these and rely solely on traffic to make money. hth
Hi Mgriffin, I think that your interpretation is right, The marketer is offering a course where he would explain his ideal solution for selling infoproducts. I am not going to purchase that course: WA seems to me far better... ;-)

Willsucceed, there are a lot of big marketers with large followings, I think it's only the leader than tends to make the money. You do have to be careful, they are often well disguised and very good sales people. You will not find anything like that at WA, it's all based on good solid hard work and knowledge of the internet business, in a very lucrative and fast growing field. Good luck! you've definitely chosen a winning name :)
Hey Loris you're not a blogger - your an affiliate marketer and an entrepreneur.
I do believe that blogging alone will not make you a secure stable week to week paycheck.
This is why I embrace WA so much - the training, the community, the tools and the low cost for Premium teach and groom for more than just blogging. WA breeds success and continues to replant the seeds from new buds building a super community of entrepreneurs.
So the short of it is no blogging won't get you there (success) but a website is damn near as important as a bank account for any business today.
ROCK ON!

Hi Ekautz, you are right to distinguish a blogger from an entrepreneur.
I had vaguely the same idea in my mind ;-)

Hi WillSucceed,
To answer your question is no. The reason is you need to market the product and that takes money. You need to have a product to offer to someone who is interested in buying it. That also takes money and time to create unless the product already exists.
You can promote without a website, but that takes you making a brochure, or some kind of handout informing the recipient where the product can be bought. You could use your garage, but, that costs money if you don' have one now. Where are you going to store the product?
As you can see, your question can only be answered by NO. You do need a website to sell and promote your products. What is neat about this is that you can become an affiliate marketer and earn commissions without having to worry about storing the product, buying the product, have packaging to mail out the product. This is all done by the affiliate for you. Also, you do not have to worry about returned items and refund money back to the buyer.
The affiliates know this and that is why they pay commissions to website owners to direct traffic to their sites. I think this is a great way to earn money. WA offers commissions on referrals to them as well.
Keep focused on having a website that provides excellent content (which Google likes) and you will start seeing traffic coming to your site. Overtime, you should see some commissions as well.
I wish you all the best.
George
I wonder where the "established fact" came from. Sure, it's hard work but as Zachary says, done properly you can build a good business. People generally buy from people they trust and having a website and building a relationship with your visitors is the way to do it.
You can sell a product without a website, but these days, it's how you make your site productive. You cannot sell you products as well as you would on the website, not these days.Plus you need the likes of Facebook, Pintrest to to help you build in you quality of promoting your products, then Twitter to connect to people to see what they think.
I wouldn't say it's impossible to do it without a website, but it's not as effective and WA will be of little use to you without a website.
I disagree with that marketer in one sense. I feel like a blog/website is one of the most effective affiliate marketing strategies, but I feel like many people don't utilize it effectively. WA teaches you how to do that.

Hey WillSucceed,
I think that Mgriffin has delivered a very accurate response. She has figured it out and if she can now commit to building an authority website and be patient, she will definitely be a leader here at WA.
This community has all the resources, hands down. Anyone that has the ambition to want to be successful in an online venture and is fortunate to find WA, should do very well.....IF they go through all the training and participate unselfishly to help the newbies that come after them. WA is a great business model. Embrace it.

thanks a lot Ricksr, it takes a while to click for me but I had watched very briefly numerous business opportunities online so I knew what they were doing. I went ahead and started what I know on my own and stumbled on WA thru a tutorial. I'm very happy I did because it's giving me a great foundation. I do think i'm ready to work on my authority site now....it's started, just need more time ...always lol!

Hello, I would like to know your opinion about this marketing strategy that is quite popularized on the web, for example to promote Clickbank products. Do you think it works? It
From what I know about marketers that promote Clickbank products, it normally works best with a blog/website.
There are a few products in that marketplace that I may promote in the future. I feel that both strategies work perfectly together.
For example, you could just create a video or create guest blog posts to promote an affiliate link but those are all things that you could integrate with your own website. I think the website route makes a buyer trust you more than just purchasing through an affiliate link without any authority.
Hope that helps and good luck! Keep up the great work :)
This can work providing you have a good following and targeted market. Works great with email marketing
Free ebooks stuffed with affiliate links are good?
