Can you give me a link to an example? My inclination is that it's actually part of the image because when you click on a pin it takes you to the website anyway. I could be wrong though, but I'd have to see what exactly you mean.

Can you give me a link to an example? My inclination is that it's actually part of the image because when you click on a pin it takes you to the website anyway. I could be wrong though, but I'd have to see what exactly you mean.

How does one add their website URL to the bottom of a photo ( jpg, png, etc) so when you click on URL, you are direct to your website.

When you add a photo to Pinterest, you can write something about it by clicking on the pen icon.
There you can also add your URL.
If someone clicked on your photo they are taken to an enlarged version of the photo, and what you have written can be seen there, together with your URL.
The URL does not look as if it is clickable, but if it is clicked on it will lead to your website or wherever you have chosen.

Thanks for the quick response. Let me re-state my question. I want to add a pin to one of my pinterest boards. It is a photograph. How do I mechanically add my website URL to the top/bottom of my photgraph so when your cursor hovers over the URL you see it is a clickable link and therefore it will open if clicked.

You can link directly to the photo or add the URL as a caption. Where will you use this? In social media when you put in your URL it shows what photos are available or you can sometimes attach your own.

What if you wanted a Page called ,for argument sake, "Sign Up Now" right next to it, and when you clicked on it, your WA custom sign up page template would appear to your visitor. I am looking for help on how to convert a custom URL WA Link into HTML.
Oh, all you have to do is edit your menu.
Appearance > Menus > Custom Links
Add your Affiliate link in there, and give it a title like "sign up now" and add it to your menu.
However you do it, you need to have something on the page to write about WA first. No one will be inclined to just click on a link or just an image with no text to it.
