Top 100 - How did i get here so fast!
I so love being here at WA - I get up in the morning early so I can spend some time on WA - I undertake my next training or work on a set task.
Slowly Im building up my website, and when I have a bit of writers block on my website - Ive been reading posts relevant to my needs, and making comments - which is helping me learn more. I have answered questions (that I know I have the answers for - from my training) - Given sitefeedback and sitecomments and popped into the live chat occassionally.
I dont feel like I should be in the top 100 - it has an exciting but also daunting feel. How can I take on this responsiblity.
When I started in early September I looked at those in the top 100 as knowledgeable and accomplished WA members and admired their giving of help and knowledge. I never dreamed that I would be up here with those wonderful people.
I know rank here in WA is not the be all and end all - its my website that should be my focus. But I have found that by helping others - Im learning to. Asking questions, Reading blogs and commenting on them is my way of increasing my knowledge base.
So how does this selfish attitude earn me the right to be in the top 100?
I just hope that now that Im up there - I can help and encourage others - so that I deserve to be up there.

Hi Paula, I'm new to WA and not consistently working on things here but will be improving over time. I have a new mantra these days - "Like Attracts Like" - so I wanted to offer that up as an answer to your question "So how does this selfish attitude earn me the right to be in the top 100?" You are doing good things here so you will be receiving good things here :-) All The Best!
Hi MyWarCo
I guess you and I are on the same page. I love your Mantra
To serve with Integrity & Encouragement so that Success &
Happiness can follow"
I hadn't realised I was following your mission in life.
Welcome to WA - a place we have the tools to make success and happiness work
Paula
Thank you Dominick
Good luck with your adventures here on WA - What niche are you working on - have you used you woodworking skills in your niche?

I didn't Paula.
I suffer from a thyroid condition (hypothyroidism) so I went for that.
Not sure if it's a good idea but I'll see how it goes.
I'm busy doing research so far and haven't much progress done on my website yet.
At least I'm learning lots about the condition so that's a bonus.
Dominick.
Yes the website building takes forever. i just have 4 blog posts on mine. But slowly and surely im making progress. Good luck with your niche.

Hi Paula.
You are spot on there. By helping others, it is possible to learn so much and often discover things you had not even considered.
Someone once said to me: If you want more of something, give away what you have now." That does seem contra intuitive, but it works in the most amazing ways.
I know it is easy to take for granted what we already know and then rank it low in importance. There is always someone who can use our knowledge and someone who knows what we need to know.
Good luck in your own enterprise.
Thank you so much. Yes I have heard that saying of - if you want more of something, give away what you have now.
It may not mean you will get the something you want - but you will definitely learn and gain something you never thought you needed.
