HI TO ALL OUT THERE, in a world that, due to technology is forever decreasing, as there is so much knowledge and information available to the individual, but also due to technology, it is becoming a world that is getting lonelier...

My name is Paula Mallasch and I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, on an island that is part of a group of islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, called New Zealand. I am embarking on a knowledge journey, where my mission is to learn more about the internet and what it can do for me. I believe that I am in the right place here on Wealthy Affiliates.

I am a wife, a mum to 4 beautiful daughters and have a huge range of hobbies and skills (technology is not one of them) and I hope to be able to share my passions with those who are interested. I love to learn and this is usually my downfall, as once I feel I have learnt and mastered something, I tend to start looking for something new to learn. Currently my passion is Creating with Fibre, but who knows... next week it could be wood carving. I love getting my hands down and dirty in my garden, and creating areas of interest within.

Currently I'm working 2x part time jobs - as an administrator in a local preschool and also a support worker for the aged. So Í'm invoived in both ends of the circle of life. This makes me understand that life is short and we need to live each and every day as if it were our last and to have no regrets along the way.

So if you want to know more about me. Feel free to contact me for a chat over a coffee - sharing ideas is sharing knowledge.

HI Paula,
I noticed you chatting to Heidi this morning and I am wondering whether you are aware that there are quite a few Kiwi's here and if not would you like to be put in touch with them.
Be great to stay in touch if you would like as it is always good to share.

Well Vicki who is ranked 7 is a great source of help and encouragement but I already spoke to her this morning and she has gone fishing so she will not be back for a few hours. There is Ailsa from the South Island and I will find out where she is as she has disappeared for a period. What part of NZ are you in? There are a few of us women who all stay in touch and help and if you want to join that little group I am sure you would enjoy it. We are from all parts of the world and there is a lot of help and contact

Yes that is right and I just heard back from Vicki and apparrently you two have touched base before. Don't know where Susan is this morning - she is probably writing furiously as she had a few hours off on Thanksgiving. Great that we have made contact and I look forward to sharing

You are quite welcome - we all have something to contribute except poor Vicki went fishing in the pouring rain and came home with nothing lol except a soaking. Anyhow she is back now and I am sure that as soon as she dries off she will be online

Oh no... I hope I didnt put a jinx on Vicki as I asked her if it was raining in her end of the island. It was pouring here in Whakatane this morning......

Very interesting, Paula. I often wonder how people can live in NZ. After all, you're very close to Antarctica. Then, I saw a documentary about a group of scientists who were exploring Antarctica. They weathered very high winds and very cold days and nights. They are/were very innovative in learning how to survive in that climate. They were from New Zealand. My respect for NZ shot up a hundred fold.

My story is very similar to yours, but is spread out over almost ten years. From mid 2015 to October, 2018, I was prevented from learning and training the WA way through no fault of my own.

Now I am at it with a vengeance, and I find it very difficult stop. Here's to our success.

That's my story, and I'm sticking with it. LOL

Hi Chuck - Your comments have been with me all day today.... "I often wonder how people can live in NZ. After all, your very close to Antartica"

NZ is a wonderful place to live and I have never seen snow in the North Island of NZ unless I go up to the ski fields on Mt Ruapehu. I'm trying to picture how you think we live. I wish I had more computer skills to send you a link to my home town....

Wishing you every success to your endeavours and training here at WA.

Hi Paula

Thank you for your comment.

I hope you don't think that I don't like NZ or it's people. Just as you had your views about Arizona, so I had mine about NZ. I didn't know how resourceful New Zealanders could be until I saw the documentary of their Antarctica scientific expedition. As I said, it was very eye opening.

About snow: the same applies to Arizona. Only the mountains get snow.

LOL - I think it was your reference to NZ being close to Antartica - I thought you pictured us sitting in sub zero temperatures all year..

I believe that every country has their own beautiful feel. - kinda like a theme.

Hi Paula,
Sue and I thank you for your following.

I lived for over 32 years on a much smaller island in the Pacific then New Zealand it was called Wake Island. The beauty was overwhelming but a little lonely. That was one reason I moved to Arizona and met Sue.

Best wishes for grand success in your ventures.

Holy heck - Wake Island is in the middle of nowhere.... What were you doing there for 32 years? Its just a blip in the middle of the sea.
Arizona (although I have never been there) must seem so desert and barren after all the sea around the island. What a contrast.

Thank you for your wishes - back at ya

Hi Paula,
Yes, Wake Island is in the middle of nowhere. Our closest neighbor (uninhabited island was about 350 miles away).

I worked for a Department of Defense contractor. The pay was poor but living conditions were excellent.

Thanks for inquiring.

When I was much younger, I would travel from Southern California ( L.A. area ) to Boston ( birth place ) to visit my many relatives. I drove by car because I liked travelling through this magnificent country. The first state I had to travel through was Arizona. For some reason, I didn't like it.

I don't know if it was the desert or what, but I just harbored a dislike for the state.

I developed a strong fondness for the desert climate after living in Las Vegas for about 22 years. I liked the dry air, the year round warmth ( triple digits - F - in the summertime ), and the working environment.

I moved to Arizona when a friend convinced me to work here. The pay was better than what I was receiving from my JOB in Las Vegas. The state I once disliked so much is now my home ( Phoenix area ), but it lacks the sizzle entertainment of Las Vegas.

I miss being able to go to the beach, but the sand surrounding many cities in this state is being replaced by homes and new roads. There's an old saying: "Home is where you hang your hat". This is the place where I hang my hat.

Thanks for following me.

Hello Paula and thank you for the follow.
You may end up using all 50 websites : )

I am sure you can do it. If your interest change , keep working on the website at hand and once it is monetizing move on to the newest interest.

That should be an awesome advantage for you.

Lol, I understand. I am very involved with my family as well. I know our 2 youngest ones will be moving out before we know it, so I am enjoying everything I can while they are still at home.

I couldn't do 50 websites either. Right now I am not sure about having 2 websites even.
Who knows maybe we can make enough to have others do a few of them for us : )

A beautiful place - Whanganui.....

Awesome! And yes I was chatting to Raeleen, it turns out we know each others families as we both grew up in Taihape. She went to school with my brother Jack Rurawhe - you may know him and Gwen? Gwen's brother married Raeleen's husband's sister, Debbie Meadows (that was a mouth full). Anyway, we should keep in touch, and I'm happy to help you and Raeleen out as much as possible. All the best :-)

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.
