QSR - Quoted Search Results Bookmarklet for you

Evening All,

So the other day I was playing around with some code and figured why not try create something that would help with my QSR research. If you're new to Wealthy Affiliate and don't know what QSR is, it's short for Quoted Search Results.

The real number of Quoted Search Results is often something myself and many other use as an indication on how easy it could be to rank for a keyword phrase.

The Wealthy Affiliate keyword tool has a built in feature to reveal the QSR of any keyword phrase, when doing keyword research you can click on "View Results" in the competition column to open a popup window with the QSR number. One of Jaaxy.com features is also displaying the QSR for any given keyword phrase.

But what if your not logged into Wealthy Affiliate or don't have the money for a Jaaxy subscription?
Well you could do this the manual way, visiting Google and entering in you search keyword phrase wrapped in quotes, then scrolling down and navigating your way to the last result.

Now the manual way is fine and I've used it many times, but what if you could speed up the whole process?

That's why I've created a free QSR bookmarklet that you can drag into your own browser, Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer. But to explain and show you how this works I've created a video for you on my blog, on the blog post you'll also find the bookmarklet that you will need to drag into your browser bookmarks if you wish to use it.

I've recently updated the Quoted Search Result bookmarklet code so that it now open the results in a new tab.
