Silent Language

This topic is probably quite new to you. And don’t misunderstand of sign language definition. The word “silent” I am going to discuss today is about our feelings, our emotions, and our aptitudes.

It is not just a talking of language but it is mainly a behavior that is unexplored and unexamined. When we communicate each other, the topics we brought will definitely be discussed or responded back by another party so that conversation can be carried on. One of the most important thing besides the topic you discuss with that person, you will have realized how that person expresses, body languages and gestures use. And those gestures are what we call silent language.

Another example, when a teacher asked a classroom of students for question. A student raised his hand and gets it correct. That teacher shows her hand gesture thumb up which bring the meaning that student answer correctly and well done.

Interestingly when you see a boss is talking to his subordinate. Both of them are having conversation at the corner, the boss start leaning slight backward, which might suggest he is happy to his subordinate’s proposal on the next project.

All these languages can be seen in your daily activities when you communicate with another.

The question is …Is there a silent language at online media? But you might have wonder that silent language at media is impossible as you can’t see those body language and gesture being act, so therefore no substance of it. But you may be wrong.

In fact, there is a lot of silent language which we are not aware at online basis? How could Facebook so success for sharing friends updates? What about dropbox have sharing documents in between 2 computers? The success of Amazon.com to get boom so fast after beta testing? All of these have its own silent language.

The founder knows that people like simple thing to do. They like to do something for fun so that will use it for long-term. Also, the way they do is through making simple webpage that do not let their audiences’ eyes strain after browsing it. They start to use variable color tone so when picture or videos added have its complimentary function and wonderful result.

So, after you have building up your website, have you tested if your audiences like your webpage? Is it too difficult to read article? Or a very bad font used? If you know how to communicate using silent language, then your website will be a powerful tool to generate income. My point here is simple. Keep and make everything simple and do it with whole heart. So the more you feel how other will react once read your website, the more success on getting more traffic reading on it.

Regards,

William

Before you publish you Post or Page read it out loud and you will hear if it sound right to you.

Yes.I get this post and it is well put together.

Thanks William. I know there is a certain feeling I get when I read people's blogs, posts, or visit their websites. Never thought of it being a silent language though. Good assessment!!!

Mostly I scoop websites and give my vision on the colors, menu, is the font readeble etc. the visual part, and I hope I give my response with a bit of tact, however that's not always easy because most people are very proud of what they accompished, you notice that the message did come over in the wrong way, when you ain't got a answer or a like, then I think, well, it's your business to accept a bit of critisism or to scare your visitors away, I have made a lot of changes to my site based on the critisism I received. And I advice every one to look very serious to their own site when they get feedback. Loes

Every website you visit has "feel" to it as soon as it appears. If it feels good, you'll stay.

You make many good points, William. Thanks for sharing!

A very thought provoking post, I enjoyed it & thanks. Have a great weekend...
