“ATTRACTION MARKETING”
“Forget about your ‘Agenda’ to achieve the ‘Outcome”.
“Don’t try to “Get” ‘Them’… Be ‘Their’ “Advisor”
“Continue putting out different Content. Eventually something you put out will hit ‘Their’ Hot-Button & you will have ‘Attracted’ ‘Them’ “.
“Be a ‘Marketer’, not a ‘Sales-Person’… ‘Point & Recommend’.
> Make your Offer something ‘They’ are already looking for.
> Point, Suggest, Recommend, etc. BUT don’t try to ‘Close’ now.
> Use the ‘4 Cs’ -
* Collect – Accumulate ‘Those’ that are looking for what you offer.
* Capture – Get ‘Their’ contact info (use a Capture Page or Have them send a Blank email to your: listname@aweber.com)
* Communicate – Build Relationships (use an Autoresponder series)
* Close - You don’t try to Close when “You” want to (Not in Your Time). Do it in Their Time. Don’t go after their Money, Go after Their Time – ‘Their Time’ is when something happens in their life that gives them their ‘WHY’ – Now they are ready to say ‘YES’ because they have a NEED for what you have to OFFER – This is when it is ‘High Noon’ for your Prospect – Be there & be their ‘Buddy’ when it’s ‘High Noon’ for your Prospect - The Question to ask is: “How Can I Help You?” Then tell them about your Newsletter or how you have a List of people that you keep informed about what is happening.
> Focus on the first 3 ‘Cs’, which will ‘Pre-sell’ ‘Them’. ‘They’ will ‘Close’ ‘Themselves’ if you just give them directions with a ‘Call-To-Action’. Through all these steps, you are just an ‘Advisor’ not a ‘Salesperson’. ‘They will come to you asking how ‘They’ can join. This is ATTRACTION MARKETING. Just put your stuff out & let ‘Them’ come to you when ‘They’ are ready. You will be talking with people that want your information rather than trying to ‘Push’ something on ‘Them’.
Ask people what "They" would like more of or what "They" would like less of - [and just listen]. Then ask "Them" if the have a Plan. Then ask if 'They" would like to see your Plan… Good conversation starter.

Not only am I "Following" you, I read every word of your Profile & every word of your Posts. How many of your "Followers" do you think can say that?
Why did I do that?
Because you are my kinda WA Member… no-BS, no - 'Small Talk' about the weather, pets, vacations, dreams, etc. etc. - There is something to be gained from reading your 'Stuff'. It's not a waste of time, like so many other's.
I wonder if you will be able to say the same about my Profile Posts?
Now, for a suggestion… take it or leave it.
You are using a caricature for you Profile Photo, I know Photo Shop is you hobby. But caricatures are less personal feeling than photos. Yes, I know you have your photo available on your Profile, but you're not using it. Just saying… consider.
If you don't have time to read my Posts, at least please read my most recent on "#2 Your Mentor" & give me your 'Feed-Back'.

Wow Wally, that's quite a compliment, thank you.
I do consider myself to be a cut to the chase kind of guy. Some consider that to be rude, crude and obnoxious, but that's not my intent. I like people to come straight to the point with me and give me direct answers to direct questions.
With regard to my profile pic, I think it stands out, so folks can know it's me from a distance, and they can approach or not.
About a 'Member Rating System' I really don't think I'm qualified to judge. I've gotten diametrically opposed opinions from folks I know, that know what they're doing. But, one of them is going to be wrong with regards to me, in this case.
I will make a point to read everything you've written. But, I've got a lot of catching up to do first.

Don't know how you would go about creating a rating system. Right now I don't have the time to try and create a list.
I've changed my mind about creating & exchanging such a list because of unforeseen consequences.
I think a better method would be to just ask someone you trust for a couple of recommendations.

It could be helpful. However, there could be a practical problem in the rating of quality content as, in many cases, in could be difficult to assess.

I use Facebook & Twitter.
I monitor conversation happen there. I look for people that are looking for what I have to offer. I don't try to "GET" them or 'SELL' them. I build a 'Relationship' with them. Then I use "Attraction Marketing" to get 'Them' to come to me. I don't want to be the "Hunter". I want to be the "Hunted". With proper "Posture" they will come to you, asking for your help.
I start a Conversation & Relationship Building with questions like:
What "They" would like more of or what "They" would like less of - [and just listen]. “Do you want to do something about it now?” Then ask "Them" if they have a Plan. Find out what they want & suggest the next step. Then ask if 'They" would like to see your Plan… Good conversation starter.
I use "4-STEP-PROSPECTING"
1. Are you seriously looking or just curious?
* If they are just curious, get them on you List; offer your Newsletter.
2. * If they are serious > “What have you tried so far, to make money from home?”
3. “How did that work-out for you (the moment of CONFESSION)?” “So, what are you working on right now?” “I have something that might interest you.”
4. “Do you have time now, to take a look?” “Great, when would be a good time?” “Sounds like you want to do some more research… let me get you on my Newsletter, which may really help you.”
If someone responds to one of your Ads & contacts you, say: “Great, what can I do for you?” Then go thru the 4 steps above.
If they try to “Posture” you & try to “Sell” you, say: “That sounds really great… I’m focused on something right now… If there is ever something I can help you with, let me know.” (That “Postures” you back in control & makes them curious about what you’re doing… that’s “Attraction Marketing”… they may come back to you & you can use the 4 steps above.
That's kind-of a brief outline. Does it make sense to you?
