Core “Business Start Up” Training
asked in
WA Affiliate Program

As I go thru my training and my coffee website, I am wondering if I have made the right choice. Should I change to a WA Affiliate niche instead?

You can keep at your existing website, or you could make the shift. If you are going to make the shift, I would recommend that you consider that you do that in the earlier stage of your business.

You have enjoy what you do, so choose a direction that you feel you would be the most passionate about.

YEa i have decided to stick to the Coffee site. The community helped me make that decision. I will wait to do the affiliate website after this website is moving good. Thanks for the help as always

I would stay with your coffee website. If you are just learning Affiliate Marketing it can be hard to help people with something you are just learning.

When you learn how this works with your own niche idea, you will have experiences to share.

If you need more ideas for informational post titles check google search and see the "people also ask section". And the related searches section at the bottom of the first page.

I definitely think you should go with your original niche. You have already started and I'm assuming you enjoy what you are writing about, so I'd say have fun and work on what your niche is.

Ok I will stick with my niche then. Thanks for the insight.

If you are new to affiliate marketing, we always recommend starting out with your own niche vs the Affiliate Bootcamp (make money online niche) can be harder and more competitive. Plus if you are looking to earn sooner, your own interest niche is also better.

Hi - actually, it may be easier to start with your own niche.

Otherwise, you would be expected to write a huge amount of content for your website, with all of your articles focusing on making money online.

If you don't have any experience or knowledge of this, you may find it difficult to keep coming up with new topics to write about every week.

It is difficult to teach people how to make money, if you have not yet achieved it yourself.

That's completely up to you Wayne. There is no right or wrong answer. Anything is possible.

Getting Started

I found some PLR info about coffee for my blogs. Is that where you usually got your content from for your sites?

Also, spelling while a cat is poking you in the arm wanting affection is hard.

Hey Wayne,

PLR can be BOTH fantastic and absolute garbage.

However, one thing is for sure, you should NEVER simply copy and paste a PLR article into a blog post and publish.

PLR by nature means that the EXACT same pieces of content have been shared with many, many people.

So, some of these people (lazy) will have copy and pasted the articles as is onto their website.

Therefore, there is always the chance that the EXACT same articles
are published on other websites elsewhere on the net - NOT GOOD.

Furthermore, as with most things in life, what you pay for is what you get.

I know that there are many sites touting "great PLR" and then charge you $5 for 100 articles.

Trust me, the content is going to be absolutely terrible.

I myself have produced PLR in the past. But, I researched, and wrote these articles myself. I would then only offer them to 25 different people, for say $25 each.

Once all 25 "packs" had been sold I stayed true to my word and never sold those articles again.

Unfortunately, not everyone will be as honest in their dealings with others.

For me, PLR should only be used to generate ideas for your content.

As I say, a lot of PLR is of poor quality, and even just rewriting poor quality content in your own words can do more harm than good.

Furthermore, a lot of PLR content is often produced by outsourcing content, and there are people who will produce 25 articles a day at $1 per article.

What do you think the quality of those articles will be like?

That said, QUALITY PLR can still be used to produce fantastic content.

However, in my mind that person would already need to be a fairly accomplished writer and have a fair amount of experience in online marketing, SEO, etc.

As with most things in life, if it seems too good to be true then it probably is, i.e cheap or free PLR usually isn't worth the hassle.

Yea, I planned to use it as a base line, then expand upon what they have. Using it for basic information and then research to get more information for my blogs.

No, I don't think that's a good place.

You've got to find what your target audience issues are and address those in your posts. So you want to be able to connect and understand their issues to produce viable content and solutions that would resolve their issues. You want to build rapport with your audience, so that they can trust your site, it punches, it delivers.

So in effect you would help people by giving them advice on an aspect of your coffee niche focus, walk them through your journey and then promote products however relevant.

When you are passionate about your niche subject and genuinely interested in, you'd find that content flows naturally. It does not take long to write an article.

Writing is pretty much like explaining something to someone.

You may start with free writing whatever comes to mind, onward to a more focused writing.

You may use apps like Grammarly which helps with learning and writing, an avenue for you to consider.

You may consult with

https://answersocrates.com/

You can search what real people are asking as in Questions, Prepositions, Comparisons, in the past, letters and query. It is also great if someone wants to write a thorough research based article.

Other sources include

https://Quora.com

https://Answers.com

https://AnswerThePublic.com

YouTube search engine etc.

You may research other peoples work however all content must be originally written in your own words.

Thanks Abie. Appreciate the feedback. I will look into these.
