Famous quotes for success 4 Success and happiness are achievable. One of the greatest Geniuses of success and happiness is Richard Bandler. He has made a science of success.
Quote Richard Bandler
Felicity was struggling with her new business. It was not making any money.
She invited Dick over for coffee to pick his brains.
“I know exactly what I want and have planned everything in detail. It is simply not working. I always knew I was no good at business and would never be able to make a success of it.”
Dick asked her to sit down and think about who had told her she was no good at business and should have been an Air Stewardess.
Imagine, for a moment, what your business would look like if it were successful. How would it seem if you were making money, just imagine it.”
He then asked her to imagine what she had done to make it a success, just in her imagination.
What would she imagine she would have done and how did she feel about it.
Felicity began to get the hang of the game and described her imaginary business and what it looked and sounded like. Imagining how she felt brought a smile to her face and she began to speak faster and faster.
Dick passed a pad of paper and a pen to her and got her to write down the imaginary ideas.
Every time she stopped and said “But it isn’t like that.” He reminded her that it was just imaginary and just a game they were playing.
After a lot of laughter and writing, Felicity looked at her new business plan, turned to Dick and said: “You Swine! How did you do that?”
“You did it, you used your imagination.”

I once read about Pete Sampras the tennis player how he´d play a match before the actual match, in his head imagining it. He won lots matches and was a great champion.
I knew Pete years ago and it all had to do with "imaging" which he learned from the tennis school he attended in Bradenton, FL, run by Nick Bollettieri...an amazing school and an amazing tennis competitor...great you mentioned him...Pete is a class act...
Now that you mention it, I remember Nick Bollettieri getting mentioned a lot back then.
Hi to Pete should you run into him again *s
Thanks Tessa. Yes I had a tennis coach who taught me to serve and he said do 5 serves in your imagination before tossing the ball. See the ball going exactly where you wanted it to. It was quite amazing how it worked.
