I have been receiving auto ads on my website since yesterday, but notice that the code I inserted for the ads, on my right sidebar, is still visible, although the ads are showi
I don't use the auto ads function just for that reason. It clutters your posts and on places you don't really want. You can create your own ad block and insert where you want, either sidebar or/and in your posts where you want.
Hi Luc,
Thank you for your reply and yes, I noticed that it looked very cluttered. How do you add the ad block? and How do I "tell" google where I want the ads to show?
I think that is a very good idea.
Below I put a screenshot of what I mean.

Hi,
You need to put in the script of your ad block in your sidebar, you use html widget for that and in your blog post you simply put the script but in text mode ,not the visual mode. Google knows then where your ads are and it might take some time(usually a few hours) before the ads are showing (instead you will see a yellow block)
Hope this helps :-)
Thank you, Luc
I will give it a go. If you don't mind, can I give you feedback once I've tried this?

Question on adsense and how it looks on my website?

First, you have to remove the original code because that contains the instruction to enable page-level ads. Then you can choose where to put the ads yourself. Easy Adsense Ads with Ad Inserter Plugin

I'm registering the affiliate network, CJ, and they are asking me to complete a Network Profile.
One of the items asked, is Software Name and then Software Version...plea
Are you applying for the right section of CJ?
Advertisers are the people who pay publishers to show their ads. Publishers show the ads on their websites. If you haven't created any software and you want to get paid for showing other people's ads on your site then apply to be a publisher at CJ.
Hi Marion,
Yes, i made sure to register as a publisher.
But seems, from other answers that it is very normal what they are asking for.
Will look further.
Thank you for your help.
