Pinterest Tutorials: What Happens if You Just Stop Posting Pins?
I've said it before but posting pins on a daily basis is IDEAL for long term growth in Pinterest but what happens if you stop doing it for a few days, weeks or even a month or more? Well this video covers that topic in great depth. Generall speaking:
- It's not a big deal if you stop posting for a few days from time to time.
- Pinterest does lessen your impression rates even if you miss a few days.
- Ideally publishing 10 or more pins daily is the right way to go.
- Should you run into issues posting, check out my other tutorial on this: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/vitaliyg/blog/can-you-stop-posting-pins-in-pinterest-and-still-get-results

Whoa, 10–20 pins a day? That sounds intense! Honestly, I’m not sure how I could manage that consistently.
I used to pin just once a day and was already thrilled with the traffic it brought to my site. But like you said — life happens. In my case, I ended up taking a long break and stopped pinning altogether for about three years. Naturally, my impressions dropped significantly.
But I’m determined to start over and rebuild. Thanks for the reminder and encouragement through this post!
Happy fathers day MrG, Been out of reach, No internet, hope to get settled soon, Enjoy your day.

I'm guilty of doing this for more than a year now.
As a result, my monthly views on Pinterest have gone right down. Pinterest is just repeating my old pins for viewing with 0% saves!
At least you have mentioned the amount of pins I need to post daily...10
However, I have run out of post ideas for my site that is linked to Pinterest. Maybe due to my site being about a very narrow niche.
It could. be time to create a new site....That is broader in niche and has evergreen content ideas.
What do you think?
You can do that or possibly start to broaden out your existing niche site and it's content, then making more pins based on that broader content Stella.
Thanks for the suggestion. Only thing is, I've repeated myself on several occasions as I have run out of ideas for my site. The niche is very narrow, like I said and I have mentioned all I know about the subject.
I have put pins from all my posts, although I could always add more images to existing posts and Pin those as well.
I'd use chatgpt then and ask topics you can broaden out on your site moving forward, then get new content out for those new topics and based on each one make new boards and pins corresponding to that.
I don't see a narrow niche as a limitation! Instead, you could have ad advantage on other people while narrowing down.
I had the same problem with creativity related to Pinterest. Then I watched Jay's training here on WA and got some "illuminations" lol!
We don't need to create the wheel anytime! You could go on Canva and create thousands different versions of COLLAGES PINS which perform extremely well on Pinterest.
So before changing niche (unless you don't like it anymore of course), watch that training and you will see how easy is expanding ideas for pins!
Sorry for the delayed response to this.
Which of Jay's training are you talking about here?
I'm curious...
