How I Share Newly Published Content Online To Increase It's Reach
Whenever I publish new content on a major website I'm running, there's a series of things I do to let the following places know about: Google, Bing, Pinterest and Facebook. Here they are:
- I inspect the URL on search console to let Google know about it
- I inspect the URL on Bing webmaster tools to let Bing know about it
- I'll make at least 1 pin on Pinterest linking to the post
- I'll make 1 post on a facebook page (business page) to link to the post
While the first 2 things happen naturally even if you do nothing, the other 2 require more manual action, but these are simple steps that only take me a few minutes to do that can have a profound impact on the post and traffic growth of my site in general and outside of it.

Great as always.
But one question. When you set it up for FB, you set the link in the text box (as normal), and I have heard many times that it is great to show it there.
But then you add a photo from your laptop.
So I was thinking. Normally, when I try this, there is only the photo when things are not correct. But I am used to click on the photo to open the article, as many. But if I click on the photo with your method, it only made the image bigger.
But if I use only the link in the text box, then the image featured from the post will appear, so you will go directly to the post.
Or am I missing something?
Yeah it will enlarge if they click on the image BUT it will still show the text and link I wrote on the right hand side (I've attached a screenshot). Nothing wrong with this approach.
Excellent stuff Vitaliy! Getting our content out there on as many different platforms as possible is essential these days with Google not knowing what the hell they want!!
Enjoy the rest of your week buddy!!

Good morning Vitaliy,
Thank you for the heads-up. As usual, it was very helpful indeed.
With all the various methods that you are testing and utilising, Vitaliy, are you seeing your website improving considerably? It definitely sounds like a good idea not to rely on Google too much.
I had a few Facebook pages that are still live, but I can't get to them. Unfortunately, Facebook closed my Facebook profile, so I can't edit the pages. I have absolutely no idea why Facebook closed my profile down; the only thing I can think of possibly is that I had two Facebook accounts with the same photograph. Maybe someone reported one of the accounts as a spam or copy account, even though it wasn't.
Have a great day and keep the tips coming, please.

Hi Roy sorry to hear about your Facebook page. You may want to consider making another one.
Regarding your question I am seeing a steady regrowth of traffic to my website. Let's put it this way, my site used to get about 100k visitors a month from Google and now it's 2-3k.
The resources I am regrowing my website traffic with in total add about 11,000 visits a month, still a long way from the 100k that I had but it's growing and the further it grows, the more it snowballs into traffic so it gets easier. It takes consistency and I'm still making new content so it ranks on Google and especially bing which is now the main search engine I get free traffic from.
Good morning Vitaliy,
I have thought about making some new Facebook pages, but it would mean changing the address of the page slightly due to the website using Facebook.com/[website name]. The original pages are still live, but I can't get to them to edit them.
That is such a huge drop, Vitaliy; it's almost hard to believe that could happen, even though I know it has. It's great that your website is now growing again; at least you're going in the right direction.
I appreciate you making the video shorts that document what you are doing.
Have a great Sunday.
Roy
