On recommendations from members, I contacted Site Support. And, as Partha explained, all I needed to do was to reply "yes" when Site Support responded, asking if I wanted them to proceed.
My website is functioning well now. There are a couple of small issues, such as deleting both unused plugins and themes, but those simple tasks I will remedy tomorrow.
