Pinterest Pins - Direct Downloading
Hi Folks,
I trust you are enjoying your Friday or Saturday whichever applies to you in your little part of this large world!
I have just completed creating a new Pinterest Pin, which is something I always spend far too much time on!
I've been aware that it is possible to save time downloading new Pins directly to Pinterest but, to date, have not taken action.
Having just completed a Pin within Canva Pro, I looked at setting it to go directly to Pinterest, rather than to my computer.
However, on reading the Pinterest Privacy Policy, I find that they will use the information available in my account!
I don't have anything to hide, as far as I'm aware. But, I just thought to ask my WA friends your opinion on agreeing to Pinterest sharing their findings within my account.

In this ever connected world I think, we as digital marketers, probably just have to accept this.
My trust factor with Canva and Pinterest is quite high. I guess you would need to ask, if in the worst case scenario what do you stand to lose. Can they access any bank details etc..
But certainly worth checking, however if they really wanted to lead you ( and me) down the garden path..I’m sure they could do so a lot easier than going through this.

Hi Valerie...this is an interesting question. My preference would always be to not do a direct share. Tech companies already own too much of us as it is, so I believe it's important to try and maintain some personal control wherever possible. It's just a matter of principle in my opinion.
