Whether the topic should correspond to the name of the site, or it may be the topic is not at all connected with the name of the site.

Good question.

One of the lessons do cover this just not sure which one. Like tags everything should relate to your niche.

thanks

Slightly misleading question, as not 100% sure whether you are referring to Domain Name, WordPress Theme or Website Content.

However, the WordPress Theme needs to be neutral or on topic. Having a baby theme with pastel colours, babies and balloons when your Website Content is about Male Beard Care, would be extremely off putting for visitors.

Going with the same type of example, having the above theme and content, but with a Domain Name of thebestwatches.com, would be even more confusing for the visitor.

Hope that helps

I understand that children and beard care are two different topics.
If my site is about football, what can be the topic (picture on the first page of the site)

Good question

thanks

Everything should be relevant otherwise visitors will get confused, leave your site and never return.

Trust this helps :)

Martin

relevant-- how is it?
Explain.

If your domain is about one niche and you post content about another. This is not relevant. Try and keep everything to one niche area

Hi Martin,
I understand it.
Thanks for the answer.

I use Generate Press as a theme and my website name and title are relevant to my niche
This is all taught in the training so go through it step by step and things will become clearer as you learn more
I hope this helps
Vicki

What lesson does this say?
Maybe I missed something.

Your site represents your niche- Your title represents your niche
This will eventually give you authority for that chosen niche and your site will reflect all you are about
Go well
Vicki

thanks

On my site these 3 widgets:

are on the left side.

If they should be on the right, then how to transfer them?</

If your theme has more than one widget area, I.e. it allows you to have a left sidebar and a right sidebar (some also allow widgets in the header, footer and on the homepage).

Then you can go to your WordPress Backend (WP Admin) -> Appearance -> Widgets and expand the appropriate widget location on the right, then drag the individual widgets to their new location. They will automatically save.

However, you may need to go to WP Admin -> Appearance -> Customise and go through the options to switch your sidebar from the left to the right. If your theme allows it.

Failing all of the above, then you will need to choose a different Theme

Hi, at the back of the website all widgets are on the left. Hover your mouse and drag them to right under the side menu.

Let me know if it helped

Thank you

Shahlla

Hey V,

The theme you are using may offer you an option to have your sidebar on the right or the left. If not, then you will need to choose another theme.

Here's a great tutorial to help you choose another theme if you need to: Hope you find this helpful.

Published as a "page" but for some reason this template appeared. How to remove it?

I think choose page instead of the post option for the privacy policy.
Thank you so much.

Hi Shahlla,
Thank you very much
I did just that, I chose the "page" not the "post"

No, thank you very much

Hey V,

Hi Triblu,
Thanks a lot for your help.
I managed to delete the template for comments.

Hi There usually it is depends on the theme you have chosen. When you open the page, usually you can switch off the comments section on the right hand side near Tags From Memory. If not it will be in the dashboard settings. Thanks Jen
