Good Morning! Tip of the day - Finding Followers

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great day!

My morning started with this beautiful scene. The first rays of the morning sun tickling the treetops on the west side of the lake. I am always amazed at the beauty that nature provides us, we just have to take the time to appreciate it.

It looks like a fall scene, but it is just the warm glow of the morning sun. I hope you enjoy the picture, but, I digress.

Today, I would like to talk with you about Finding Followers.

The community aspect of WA is a huge asset! I know of no other place that provides this level of community in regards to creating a successful online business.

We are really blessed to have the ability to communicate so closely with such great mentors. The cost of the membership here is a drop in the bucket compared to what you would pay to have access to some of the community leaders here.

Many of them are engaged in marketing their professional skills, yet they offer their advice and counsel to those here at no cost. This is "priceless!"

A quick thank you to all those successful people that still give of their time, and share their knowledge with the rest of us. We really appreciate you! Thank you!

This wonderful Wealthy Affiliate platform provides us with numerous ways to connect to other members here. I would like to share a couple that I use on a daily basis to increase the number of people I follow, and as a result, the number that follow me.

1. New to The Community

On the right side of your own profile page, you will see a short list of 8 new Wealthy Affiliate members. Following them is easy, just one click each will do that, and, when you have clicked all 8, the list will refresh and provide 8 more opportunities to increase the number of people you are following.

I recommend when you have the time that you put a little more effort into it than just clicking the follow button. Try to find some time to actually get to know the people by reading their profile! You will find many that you have something in common with.

Start a conversation! Comment on their profile message. When you show interest in someone, they are more likely to reciprocate that. Remember, the goal is to network!

2. The Network Button

At the top of any page at Wealthy Affiliate you will see this button.

Clicking it will take you to your Network page. You can see here all the people that you are following, and by clicking the "Followed By" under the page title, all those that are following you!

When I click on the "followed by" I see that there are a number of people that are following me that I haven't followed yet. Another opportunity to improve my networking!

I try to remember to go to this page every couple of days or so and follow those people that have followed me. It is a good idea here too to check out their profile and get to know them a little. And, of course, send them a thank you note for following me and let them know I am following them too!

Who knows what tidbit of information I might be missing out on by not having followed these folks sooner. The same could be happening to you!

Be sure and return the follow to people that follow you! It's a simple courtesy and may pay dividends in knowledge and experience that benefit you for years to come!
