Find Firebug on your Screen

You will be able to tell when Firebug is installed because you will see in the upper right hand corner of your toolbar, the little firebug icon:

If the little bug is orange as it is above, that means it is activated for that particular webpage. If it is not activated, it will appear gray like this:

To toggle from activate to deactivate, click on the little bug.

NOTE: I am using Windows 7 on this computer. I have not updated to Windows 10 yet on this particular computer and I never liked Windows 8. or 8.1. Your screen will undoubtedly be different if you are using Windows 8 or Windows 10.

Thank you Stephanie.
I have saved all of this, because as you know, I know nothing about HTML. :(
Be sure that I will come hollering if I get stuck one day.
I appreciate all your valuable tips and training.

Okay here is a dumb question. How do you switch over to Firefox browser?

Hi...I am sorry. I should have included that in the training. Go here to download Firefox

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

But I think you can also use Firebug in other browsers too. If you prefer Google Chrome is the download page:

And here is a download for IE:

Thank you Linda. I think it has potential to help those who do not want to take the risk of breaking their website by making a change in HTML. This way, they can create a draft form of what the changes will look like.

Will certainly look at this one. (Actually a firebug is someone who starts all these nasty bushfires in Oz!)

Do you the movie Wizard of Oz Helen? I don't remember anything called firebugs, but then again it has been a long time since I have seen the movie.
