Hello everyone, my name is Scott and at the age of 52, I have had a very well rounded career history. From woodworking in custom furniture to chef; Nuclear Reactor Operator to mortgage underwriter, sales to collections, laborer to management - I have done most anything. I am a true "jack-of-all-trades yet a master of none.
Latest Update (6/28/2017)
So I am not the worlds best blogger - as I am too fiddle footed. Anyway, I am making money. I am maintaining 3 websites for clients - and I have spent the last 6 months figuring out some other avenues. I am getting ready to implement my business plan in the next 45 - 60 days. We will see - and I will update you on it.
Wishing you the best
So today I decided to change my profile (2/29/2016)
I want to give a review of my journey to date. Maybe this will encourage someone struggling.
Let me begin by saying WA is a great community and training place. The best I have seen. But here we go.
(I could have put this in a blog, but I wanted to remind myself of this last year as well - It's my personal accountability.)
My Failures for the last year. - Believe it or not - I did not make a single one of my personal goals with WA.
Sound terrible? - It's not really. I realized that the goals I had set did not take into consideration my current responsibilities. I need to set my goals as (1) challenging (2) realistic and (3) difficult but obtainable.
My successes for last year. - Three out of four sites I did for friends that are non-profits are ranking on page 1 of google.
My take away - I can do this. I learned a lot. Now to put it in practice.
I can do this - and so can you. Be realistic with your expectations. Re-evaluate often to determine where you are going, where you are, and how to get there.
Wishing everyone great success and looking forward to working with you
