Wealthy Affiliate and the Chrome Extension Tool
This is the exciting part for those members where English is not their native tongue along with others who may have some vision impairment and are of another language.
Generally, as Wealthy Affiliate is an English-speaking Training platform over the years many who are not of English-speaking background have struggled to understand the Core lessons.
Recently Wealthy Affiliate has added subtitles to the video which helps many such as those with Visual impairment but now using the Chrome Translation tool adds value to those of another language.
When using Google Translate, you can actually read the training in your native tongue.
Unfortunately, watching the video is not really beneficial I tried and got some shows in Spanish and other languages however, it doesn’t always work and comes back in English.
So I had to change some of this because of the issue, yet as far as the text is concerned is awesome to use.
Besides most of the video is self-explanatory when you watch how it is done so all is not lost.
I feel that is some tweaking that site support or whoever, might need to think about.
So once you have this set up will make it so much easier to follow the training and apply what is taught.
Please note:
Nothing is perfect but is a start.
Not all languages may be translated in the training but most will.
We not only have many languages worldwide but also many dialects within some languages that may it very hard to do.
This is not to do with Wealthy Affiliate itself but in the ability to translate to a particular language or dialect using Google Translate.
I have tested some videos in the core training using various languages but certainly not all as that would take forever to do.
As I said at times they work other times they don’t however, when they do I have noticed that the video sub-titles can be seen in Greek, Spanish, French, and German so far.
As I said there could be more so you may need to test it out yourself.
So once you have this set up if you are from another country, especially those I just mentioned you can now read the training at least.
So how can I do this you may ask?
One day I was trying to translate a comment that was written in Spanish. I do this to see if I can, having a little Spanish knowledge, un poquito, as I say ( can't find the accent mark on my keyboard). And the google translator just appeared, so I tried it, and voila. So cool.
But today as I write this, it is nowhere to be found--so I will follow your instructions and pin it to the taskbar. Again, thank you.
But one trick, if need to translate between 2 languages which are not English, it is best to translate (for example) Icelandic to English and then from English to French.
