When you open this you will see the dashboard on your left.
Step 2:
Type Google Translate in the search box then hit enter.
You should now see the choices to make as shown below
Once you type in Google Translate your choices will appear to choose the one listed below.
Step 3:
Click on Google Translate and the next image will appear.
Step 4:
Then click on Add to Chrome.
Once done which should only take a few seconds it will tell you that the extension has been added to Chrome as per below.
Now that it has been added a few more steps can be taken to enhance it a bit more for you.
Step 5:
Now click on the extension as before just in case here is the image again.
Here you will see all the extensions that you have added. If this is your first extension you will only see one box.
If you have done more extensions then more will be shown below.
I have many extensions but here is what it would look like per the Google Chrome Translate Extension.
Notice all are shown by the blue scroll bottom at the end of each extension.
So let’s move to the next page Pinning Extensions to your browser
One day I was trying to translate a comment that was written in Spanish. I do this to see if I can, having a little Spanish knowledge, un poquito, as I say ( can't find the accent mark on my keyboard). And the google translator just appeared, so I tried it, and voila. So cool.
But today as I write this, it is nowhere to be found--so I will follow your instructions and pin it to the taskbar. Again, thank you.
But one trick, if need to translate between 2 languages which are not English, it is best to translate (for example) Icelandic to English and then from English to French.
