You can work with more than one list and you can attach a subscription form with a shortcode to posts/pages, or use the Sendit widget. You can also use a featured image, to make emails look more attractive to your subscribers.

Overall, this plugin is very easy to use for everyone. Once installed, click on its Add New section and start writing your email. On the right side of the WordPress window, you can select the time when you want your email to be sent and the list to which it will be sent.
