Spend Ad Dollars Wisely

At some point, you're going to want to try your hand at running social media ads. It doesn't matter whether you're boosting a post on Facebook or engaging in Twitter ads or Google ads. The point is, you want to spend your money wisely and use the knowledge you have learned about your audience to your advantage when creating and targeting ads.

 Define Your Target Audience – It's imperative that you truly do understand who your target audience is and that you know how to define them down to the individual that you want to connect with when you embark on spending money on social media ads.

 Know Which Social Media Channels You Need – You don't need to be everywhere, as much as you may want to be. You only need to be where your audience is. Knowing who they are and where they hang out and what they want to know is essential for social media ad success.

 Offer Value to Your Ideal Audience – Know what type of value you really offer to your audience so that you can stand out from all the other ads on social media. You want to give them an excellent reason to answer your advertisements.

 Develop Your Content Types – Remember, you need different ads and different content depending on where your buyers are in their journey. Know what type of content works for sharing versus getting people to sign up for your list. If you know your goal, who your audience is, where they are in their buying cycle, and your value, you should be able to run very successful advertisements on social media.

You may want to consider hiring someone who is an expert on the platform you want to place ads on to help you with targeting and setting up the ads. Once you have ads set up that are converting, you can learn how to do it yourself. But don't make it so hard on yourself that you can't run ads at all. Ads are a great way to stand out from the crowd and get your products and services in front of your ideal customer faster.

Thank You!!
I've got the site, the posts and the pages - now I need to tackle social media and engagement. I'm an introvert so this is probably the part that scares me the most. This training has lots of points that will help me along the way. Thank you for compiling it.

Catherine, This is an interesting review of the whole process of Social Media Marketing. Sometimes it is difficult to remember all the ins and outs, and having a lesson like this is a good way to revisit the ways you can use social media.
Thanks,

I've been struggling with social media as I'm not a very social person but now I see that I need a better focused approach.
