If the e-book will be in pdf format, you'll be able to insert links in it. This means that readers will be able to click through to affiliates if you'll find appropriate ones. This may add another revenue stream, you perhaps might have not thought of.

Go to 'Clickbank' website, or use some other commission paying option. If someone who'll read your ebook gets recommended to get some product or use some service, you don't want them to be left thinking where they should get it. Make immediate recommendations.

One thing you'll have to be aware of is that the affiliate offers you choose might end sometime. You don't wanna have someone click to get on a 'lost page'. Check how long does the affiliate deal you're promoting exist, and think of whether it could live up enough so you make the most benefit out of it.
Be careful with this if you want to link to, for example, Amazon products.

If you get 1000 of people to read your e-book, and 100 of those guys click on your affiate vendor, from which you get 10$, you got a 1000$ on the side. And you haven't done a thing about it after publishing the e-book.

Great article. I would also suggest publishing it on Amazon/Kindle. It is free and you can get all the help you need in the form of templates and even a cover maker. Worked great for me. You can find how to publish on Kindle here

I agree ebooks are an important source of revenue for us---so long as we give really strong value to the reader.

You might want to look on Amazon for how to publish/market ebooks on Kindle----they are a goldmine of ideas.

Look to your eventual publisher before you write so you use the correct formatting for , your specific publisher. On Amazon, for instance, there's simple ways of publishing ebooks if you use Wordpress to write your content..

In your training, I really liked the part at the end, where you talk about leveraging your ebooks. Never want to just assume you write an ebook, publish it, and that's it.
