You are a person that has been through a lot in life, probably, and learned a lot from it. Think about your best experience or your expertise, and make a list of all the topics you could say a few words about. You should choose a topic this way. For example, you're a mechanic, and you love doing fitness. You wouldn't believe it, but you have at least 2 e-book potentials immediately.
Choose 'mechanic' domain. Think of all the things that you're doing at work. What problems do people have with cars or motorbikes when they come to your repair shop? Can they do any of things you're doing at home by themselves at home?
The goal of e-book can vary, but most often, it is to help somebody with something.

You might want to look on Amazon for how to publish/market ebooks on Kindle----they are a goldmine of ideas.
Look to your eventual publisher before you write so you use the correct formatting for , your specific publisher. On Amazon, for instance, there's simple ways of publishing ebooks if you use Wordpress to write your content..
