Manage Locations of Top and Bottom Menus

At the top of the 'Menu Structure' page we were just on, at the top left there are two headings, Edit Menus and Manage Locations.

1/ Click on the 'Manage Locations' tab. It should look similar to the one below:

2/ To the right of Navigation under Assigned Menu, click on the dropdown box entitled 'Select A Menu' and click on Top Menu.

3/ Now click on the dropdown box to the right of Primary and click on Bottom Menu.

The 'Manage Locations' page should now look similar to the one below:

4/ Once you are happy with your setup of the Menu Locations, click on the blue 'Save Changes' button on the bottom left.

Now we have the Top and Bottom Menu Locations set up, let's check if that's what shows in the menus.

Voila! This is the result we were looking for! Two menus, but showing different pages and not all the same pages in both menus! See image below for correct result.

(PS The third red menu is the menu compatibility for mobile devices).

Thanks Loes! You are a champion! BTW! I was just wondering how the Favourite Feature works, is the same as the Bookmark Feature or is it different?

Thanks for the tutorial. When I go into manage locations, all I get is a Primary Menu. My Theme is WP 2012. I take it that I would need coding to get that bottom menu. I did check out a few you-tube videos which were of no help but I will try your suggestions above.

Hi Darlene, you're feedback is great and it makes me smile because I was looking for only 1 menu, and you would like to have 2. :-)

I think maybe that your theme, WP 2012 probably only has 1 menu by default. If you would like to have 2 menus, then change your theme to ProMax.

I don't know of any Plugins that would give you a second menu, but I'm sure there will be some kind of coding you may be able to add. There I'm not an expert, but maybe these links will help.
