Uploading an Image to WordPress:
The first thing you need to do is to upload your image to WordPress. If you’re already aware of this process, then you can skip this step and advance to the next page.
If you don’t know how to upload an image, then read on.
Uploading your image is easy. When you’re logged into your WP Admin Dashboard, you’ll see a tab called “Media” in the left menu bar. When you click on it, a new site will open. Right next to “Media Library”, you’ll see a button called “Add New”.
Clicking on it will bring you to the Upload Screen. See image below
To upload your image, click on “Select Files” and search for your image on your computer. Once you’ve found it, highlight it and click “Open”.
Your image will start to upload. Depending on size and your internet connection, this can vary from a few seconds to a couple minutes. Once the upload is completed, you’ll see your image underneath the big perforated box. See image below
You can find your image now in the "Media Library". See image below
With having the image in the Media Library, we’re now ready to add the Image Courtesy using Captions.
Thanks.
