Step 1.4: Save
You've just reviewed and accepted the updated amendment to their data processing terms and look now the bold text has turned to red writing saying 'has not been saved yet'.
Now you can press the blue button Save and you'll get that red text turn to green writing with a date of your acceptance.
Notice I've called that orange 'Success' box a little liar because it flashed success at me any time I pressed Save, even without reviewing and accepting, so you don't trust the Success box, you look for that green writing with the date. Mine now says :
The Data Processing Amendment for this account was accepted May 11, 2018
Philip got there a day ahead of me, his Success box wasn't lying :D
Now, just to confuse things see that sandwich with the date, the Save button and in the middle the blue writing Manage DPA Details - such an odd place for it, easily missed but that is Step 2 in the original Google Analytics email to us, and they want us to fill in our contact details there for each website. That is next page of this tutorial.

go into your analytics admin and follow through, if those instructions are there then click them - if they are not then let us know
All of their instructions were a bit muddy, so on the page where we fill in contact details they say 'all european economic area AND anyone the regulation reaches' see how muddy that is - because GDPR reaches everyone, yet they did not commit themselves
if there is a button in your analytics asking you to accept then do it, if not then fine - but go in and look

By the way, I've not done anything for the GA 360 Suite for fear of falling into errors.

The email they sent out has 360 suite on it but also analytics in the same pathway
if you just follow the login to all website data and admin you'll navigate to the update agreement
