TIP 2 - Make your first paragraph promising and persuasive
So you've managed to grab your reader's interest and made them click through to your sales page. Now we need to keep them there using what's known in the copywriting world as 'teasers'. Often in the very first paragraph - your opening gambit - the reader loses interest or qualifies themselves out of a purchase, simply because of a poorly written opening paragraph.
Those first few paragraphs is where you pique your readers' interest further still, drawing them in to read more, and building that all important rapport with them.
Furthermore, it's where you qualify the promise you made in your title.
Make them want to stay
Be specific about your product and tell your reader how it will enable them to reach their desired outcome. There's no need for hyperbole overload here - just the simple facts. Teach them about it - what the product does, how it will enable them to realize their desired outcome, and what the key benefits they'll get from using it are.
In essence, reassure your readers with your copy by making them feel that they're in the right place. This, in turn, will make them want to read on and find out more.
